Kudus
Reports that we are in for him from W Ham. surely not.

Ed totally appreciate its way too early to be talking transfers. With K De Bryne out of contract and Martin under performing since becoming Vegan, Any whispers of any interest big or small in De Bryne who is apparently open to staying in the PL? He is 33 and would want a hefty Salary I imagine.
{Ed014's Note - I just can’t see that happening mate, I also don’t think he really has a lot left in the tank, injuries are an issue too, let alone, as you say, the likely size of his wages.
I hadn’t realised Odegaard had become vegan, I looked at him in the training photos yesterday and he looked so gaunt.
He looked ill to be honest.
2.) 08 May 2025 18:41:42
That's what I have been thinking ED14. He seems so gaunt in the face, I was worried it could be an eating disorder .
{Ed014's Note - hopefully what ever the issue is Sally he manages to resolve it over the summer, it was a little shocking to see him looking that way.

Hi Eds
Any news on a potential Centre Forward, surely we need one?
{Ed002's Note - We have been through this.}

An excellent point yesterday, I feared a 4 or 5 in the making when it was 2-0. Credit where credit is due they put in a great shift second half.
Lets get 3 points against Newcastle to ensure second spot.
08 May 2025 07:09:05
Oleary I have to disagree, I certainly wouldn't say PSG are a very good side, let's not dress this up, Villa scored 4 against them over 2 legs we could have scored 4 or 5 .
Last chance saloon for Mikel Artichoke, and yes I FULLY blame him for not getting us a striker. He has influence in the club, we did our normal faffing about and arrogance in the transfer market with Watkins.
Mikel buy big in the summer and we have a chance if you don't you are gone mate.
Let's be fair we haven't been top of the league this season, we have only been second because City have been dire, they have found form they will most likely leap frog us.
As has been said the damage in the semi was done at home, and over both legs we weren't clinical enough.
1.) 08 May 2025 10:03:36
We need some serious investment across the squad, Partey just isn't good enough, Jesus, Havertz, Zinchenko, Jorginho also need replacing.
Another year of saying maybe next year it is then.
2.) 08 May 2025 11:59:54
We certainly do, 4 semi finals under MA and no wins the pressure is seriously on him for sure. Listening to Declan Rice, he seems to think the group of players can give no more.
The Summer should be interesting, let's hope we do the business early .
3.) 08 May 2025 14:49:18
PSG beat City plus Liverpool, Villa and us over two legs, and are in the CL final, but aren't a very good side?
Where are the good sides hiding?
4.) 08 May 2025 16:28:56
There are no good sides SW mate, there are only sides that Arsenal should beat every time we play them.
If we do beat other teams it's because those teams were poor opponents and of course if we fail to beat them we automatically become useless bottlers.
Sounds a bit like the medieval witch trials to me but it seems to make perfect sense to some people.
5.) 08 May 2025 21:11:12
I'm not really bothered about other sides, i'm more interested in how we play and tbh, it's just not been good enough over the course of a season.
6.) 08 May 2025 21:23:06
Evening all. Understand some fans anger and frustration at not going through to the finals. Honestly I think we are all hurt and disappointed at how close we got but the outcome is still the same we have nothing in the cabinet. Not many of us expected us to progress past the first half of champions league never mind reaching the semi final. I'm proud of the overall performance of the team over the last 3 years especially this season given our injury hit squad. We have unearthed some real gems and makes the summer window easier to buy what we need. Let us not forget we still have 3 games left and nothing should be taken for granted we could easily finish outside the top 5. Let's get behind the team that have given us the opportunity to dream again so we can finish the season as high as possible and hope kronke and the berta can bring the players in that are required. Love the team love the manager. Clear out the players that are not growing with the team and bring in fresh players with winners mentality that can bring something to squad.
7.) 08 May 2025 22:01:11
Not really angry Gunns but it has been glaringly obvious for sometime that we need a worldclass striker. It's the last piece of the jigsaw I think and then we will be in a great position. A striker like Isak or Sesko would have got a hatfull agains PSG as we created so many chances. If the board, Kroenke or Arteta don't see that then we have no hope of progress. Look at PSG as an example, they knew what they needed in January and went out and bought it.
8.) 08 May 2025 22:44:00
Hi Sparky, the question is do we trust the process? Do we trust the board and manager want what we want every bit as much as we want them and are every bit as aware as we are of our needs but are simply privy to reasons why they have not been possible before now than we are?,
9.) 08 May 2025 23:18:58
That is something we will never know mate . What I do know is Kroenke isn't in it for the glory, he is quite happy collecting the money from Sky etc knowing at any time he can double his investment by selling the club. Its how football is now, its a business whether we like it or not. Not good for us fans but that's just where we are now.
10.) 09 May 2025 07:44:05
Hi Sparky. Logic and reason tell me that the club wouldn't have invested 100m in Rice if they didn't want to win big trophies, and whether Arteta is good enough is of course debatable but I don't think anyone can seriously question that he personally wants to win big trophies with Arsenal.
If I had to bet a months wages on the answer I'd have to bet that there is a logigical and rational reason why the club and manager haven't been able to sign the striker we all know we are missing because there is no logigical and rational answer as to why they would simply choose not to do so.
11.) 09 May 2025 08:13:49
62 is it possibly because they would rather spend the money on another left back instead?
12.) 09 May 2025 20:08:35
That is most definitely one possibility explanation Oleary, but obviously there are other explanations available too
Ultimately most people will choose to believe the explanation that best supports their personal feelings about the manager and owners that's perfectly normal, but just because something is normal doesn't always make it correct.
13.) 09 May 2025 20:34:50
62 what happened in Jan was a dereliction of duty whoever was responsible for it. It has cost us big time.
14.) 09 May 2025 21:34:15
Surely the first logical question is why didn't it happen before you even start searching for who was responsible for it not happening. If it were to turn out that circumstances beyond the clubs control prevented it from being possible wouldn't that make looking for someone to blame be like simply selecting a sacrificial lamb to appease the angry masses?
15.) 09 May 2025 23:27:36
in no way is this Arteta's fault let's be clear about that. Edu screwed us over and no idea how much damage that did. My only hope is the board back him and give him the team he can lead to glory.
Arteta is clearly passionate about the club [ even if some of his ramblings are a bit, well odd] and wants to prove he has what it takes as much as we all want it to.
16.) 10 May 2025 10:47:33
Hi Sparky Arteta does talk nonsense sometimes and I personally cringe at some of the nonsense he spouts out, but Arsene even when at his best was no stranger to coming out with his fair share of nonsense that no one not even Arsene himself truly believed.
Very few managers are capable of being consistently honest with themselves and maintaining their dignity on a regular basis, most tend to embarrass themselves their club's and fans after disappointments and when under pressure. Honesty and humility are very admirable qualities but very few have the ability to consistently display them.
07 May 2025 07:49:03
So here we are, the day of reckoning, I believe we will do it, we certainly can't be any worse than the first leg . I am going for us to win 2-1 and go through on pens.
1.) 07 May 2025 08:25:57
1 4 to the Arsenal for me mate.
I'm not good at predicting score lines but I've got a really good feeling in my lucky toe about this one.
Up The Arsenal ?.
2.) 07 May 2025 08:41:35
Exactly what my mate just texted me Banbury.
3.) 07 May 2025 10:04:32
Dont care what the score is or how we do it, just do it as the Nike advert says
COYG.
4.) 07 May 2025 11:44:10
Im ill in bed guys so proably going to miss most of the match. We have what we need to beat this team. The team will be successfull and we will win.
5.) 07 May 2025 12:42:41
Get well soon G4e. ? ? ?
I will be behind the sofa I reckon lol.
6.) 07 May 2025 13:56:14
Get well soon Gunns??.
03 May 2025 19:24:26
I am baffled as to how we can be superb against Real Madrid home and away and then be so rubbish in following fixtures. fatigue? complacency? Arrogance, really odd.
03 May 2025 19:18:54
Well this is looking like a horrendous end to the PL season for us, I said a few weeks ago 3rd or 4th place was possible, it's looking odds on now, especially given we have Liverpool away and Newcastle at home.
Get nothing from PSG and I would say next season is Arteta last effort, he has spent a fortune with zero return.
Far too many blinkered Arsenal fans around I'm afraid, bumped into one today and thought finishing second 3 or 4 seasons on the bounce is success . seriously.

How can Liverpool fans been miserable, a superb season with a brand new Manager. odd.
03 May 2025 20:10:49
Yep all good mate.
Be a dream for all of us if we could win it.
03 May 2025 19:57:45
Totally agree Sparks and no doubt fans will come out and say we had a great ride in the CL. only if we win the damn thing
The one thing I am clinging to is we have been consistent in Europe and with TP back that might continue.
