Good Man Bukayo! Making the news for all the right reasons! Get in COYG.
27 Oct 2026 09:14:13
So proud ๐ the very best of humanity ๐
And rivalry aside, I am happy for Harry Kane, well deserved.
26 Oct 2026 15:13:19
Hello Gooners, hope all is well.
I am rooting for Kane to receive the Ballon d'or because over the last year and a bit his goal scoring has been ridiculous for both club and country.
I will be disgusted if anybody else wins it this year, nobody is close to him in football terms, if they inly see popularity then it is a different conversation!
25 Oct 2026 16:37:35
Man United ๐๐๐๐.
25 Oct 2026 18:07:04
Now they are club in trouble, Carrick came in and suddenly the players started playing for him, then came the summer and the players appear to be bored with Carrick now and keen to have yet another different manager for a little while.
25 Oct 2026 22:21:48
And away .
25 Oct 2026 22:43:38
Or alternatively This City Is Ours mate.
25 Oct 2026 23:25:21
I do like that, need to watch 2nd series - War is good too.
26 Oct 2026 08:23:36
I watched the first episode of series two last night mate, every bit as good as series one, so far
It was the house of Bamboo ๐
I'll catch up on Bob Ted and Paul on the i player.
26 Oct 2026 08:59:46
But it is COYG.
26 Oct 2026 16:08:52
I'm a sopranos man watched it for the first time 4 years ago and when I finish I just start again lol.
{Ed025's Note - if indeed you do overcome Liverpool at the weekend Dublin i would love to see the Arsenal players dance "The House of Bamboo" in front of the Kop, but its a big IF after the way you shat your kecks last time mate, but i live in hope.. :)
26 Oct 2026 17:30:59
We just need to find our inner Banksy and avoid our inner Jamie and well be absolutely fine, cool calm and lethal apposed rushing in head first and creating needless problems for ourselves and everyone around us ๐.
๐ถ oh the good life, its fun ๐ถ.
27 Oct 2026 00:02:08
Give - last one laughing on prime a go. Halloween special is good. Will watch City is Ours just as London & EPL is ๐.
25 Oct 2026 15:03:41
Let's wait and see if we're better without him? That's literally what I've been asking for for 3 weeks - to actually see.
I never said we're better without prime Saka, I said we're better trying something else when he's off form. 2 goals in 19, no dribbles, everything coming down the left. You watched it too.
You just said it yourself - 'we have very good players ready to come in'. That's my whole point. I wanted to see Noni get a run, you wanted to keep the same thing hoping it changes.
We just beat Everton 2-0 looking more direct without him, so the 'wait and see' has already started well.
I want Saka back 100% and flying, but I also want us to be able to win and not look one-dimensional when he's off. Both can be true.".
25 Oct 2026 21:38:23
You got your wish with Saka & Noni I guess
Don't make any more Dg.
26 Oct 2026 07:03:12
And what wish would that be sy!
26 Oct 2026 21:11:34
No Saka
Did you make another wish . " Real Madrid are preparing to explore the possibility of signing Bukayo Saka"
๐.
25 Oct 2026 13:25:58
In no way shape or form did I want saka injured regardless of what some memebers think what a ridiculous statement to make unbelievable!
25 Oct 2026 13:49:01
In my comment I said " I didn't think anyone actually wanted Saka to be injured " only that they wanted him left out; so his being injured gave them the opportunity to see if they really did know better than Arteta.
Lets see if whether you think we are better with or without Saka come January when hopefully he will be available again.
25 Oct 2026 14:01:49
You also said it's not crappy news for people that wanted him dropped well I wanted him dropped and I'm gutted he's injured.
25 Oct 2026 14:02:26
To see if they know better than arteta pmsl are you for real.
25 Oct 2026 14:03:13
I'm sure you'll remind us all in January it's probably already marked in your calendar!
25 Oct 2026 14:19:42
Dam it 4 in a row.
25 Oct 2026 14:33:39
Lets wait and see how we get on without Saka, Dublin, and equally let's wait and see whether or not I have something marked in my calendar for January and what that i might or might not be on standby to post once January arrives, which reminds me o must get a 2027 calendar at some point ๐
I actually agree with Chris Suttons view that Arsenal will miss Saka because he is a top class player and because of the chances he creates and scores fortheteam, but we do have some very good players ready to come in his absence so we should be able to cope without him in the mean time.
25 Oct 2026 14:42:23
I support Arsenal not saka mate so I want Arsenal to win so if saka helps Arsenal win then I'm happy if noni does I'm happy so it's a win win from me, I didn't mention January mate you did I just jumped on it, I could say some memebers want Arsenal to fail now so that can target the people who wanted saka dropped but I won't go there ;) I'm sure nobody wants that right? Or maybe some do just so they can have a go, I can see the posts now lol.
25 Oct 2026 15:30:31
Oh Dublin, whatever are you suggesting ๐คช๐คช๐คช๐คช. If you genuinely believe i want Arsenal to fail without Saka just so as I can tell you how wrong you were about Saka, you couldn't possibly be more wrong, but on the other hand should Saka return and go on to be the difference between us winning the title and finishing runners up i might just be tempted to give you a gentle reminder of your claims about him before he was injured ๐.All in the name of banter of course ๐๐๐๐.
25 Oct 2026 15:47:38
Haha come on man, you know what I'm suggesting -deep down you want us to struggle without him so you can say 'told you so'. Don't do the 8 emojis 'banter' thing, just say it with your chest ๐
You said if Saka comes back and is the difference for the title you'd remind me? But I've literally said on every occasion if he comes back and is the difference to win us the title I'd be MORE than happy to be wrong. I've said that from day one. but obviously you don't read all my comments through I've said every time I'd love him to prove me wrong!
I WANT to be wrong about him needing to be dropped. I want him to come back and score 10 in 10 and win us the league - that means Arsenal win the league, why would I not want that? You want me to be wrong, I want Arsenal to win. We're not the same.
So yeah, give me all the gentle reminders you want in May if he wins us the title - I'll be too busy celebrating the title to care. Deal? " I know you've already thought about it 100%.
25 Oct 2026 15:49:27
And the difference between us both is if noni goes on and takes sakas spot and scores 15 league goals I won't say a word to you! That's the difference between us :)
25 Oct 2026 16:01:55
Or maybe I will lol all in banter ๐.
25 Oct 2026 16:52:35
Sounds good to me mate ๐.
25 Oct 2026 16:59:56
If he scores 15 goals - I'm just hoping he puts in 15 decent crosses. He's very direct & I love that but not the brightest with the final ball & runs out of grass. If he can get his head up - he could be lethal.
24 Oct 2026 16:58:59
Glad to say Debbie and I flew the flag in the live chat today lol. ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐คฃ ๐.
25 Oct 2026 06:34:22
Sorry girls
I had to work.
25 Oct 2026 09:13:02
You not finished that community service yet Mark mate ๐คช๐คช๐คช๐คช.
25 Oct 2026 09:26:21
Haha John, finished that last week.
25 Oct 2026 09:54:47
Excellent news Mark, how are you mate?
25 Oct 2026 11:24:58
I'm really good John mate, things are going well
How are you n the family doing hope all is well ๐โค๏ธ๐ฎ๐ช๐๐๐.
25 Oct 2026 12:15:21
Hey Mark i'm really pleased that life is treating you well mate and very happily i can say life's being extremely kind to me too ๐.
You enjoying the season so far Mark? Obviously the Brighton game was a bit of a shock to the system but other than that i'm really optimistic about our chances of retaining our title and possibly even adding a cup or two along the way. Our squad strength is ridiculously good right now and the players who are sitting on our bench nowadays would have pretty much all been dead certs in our starting 11 just a few years ago. We are all currently very lucky gooners in my opinion mate ๐.
25 Oct 2026 13:25:03
Hey John yes I'm really enjoying the season so far. 1 loss all season brilliant time to be a gooner๐๐๐๐.
23 Oct 2026 18:29:38
Well that's crap news - Saka out 6 weeks!
So Liverpool & Cheaty games plus Champ league.
That's crappy news and means I have to watch Eze & Noni our short sighted summer transfer window about to bite. Hopefully Max gets some chances.
Our frontline looking very poor and was always going to happen with limited quality options, lack of rest & number of games. Very shortsighted by the boss or Brian.
24 Oct 2026 11:03:57
Yep Sy so short sighted we have two out of three first choice attackers out and heaven forbid we have to replace with two England internationals. I think a run of games for Eze and Noni will see them show their thing! Always Max on the bench and think Quantum back very soon. Chin Up COYG.
23 Oct 2026 19:03:24
It's not crappy news for those fans who wanted Saka dropped mate, I'm not saying anymore actually wanted Saka to get injured but for those who feel the team would be better off without Saka its their opportunity to see if their judgment really is better than Arteta's.
24 Oct 2026 17:03:36
It's terrible news - why would you not want Saka
We are light bud & we didn't get the business done - Noni ain't it & Eze doesn't fit - how will we beat PSG : that's the watermark not Everton at home where two CBs needed to score & everyone knows it's shortsighted. Those two don't challenge the starting 11 & we chased a LW failed but didn't sign a top drawer LW so we have two get those glasses off ๐.
24 Oct 2026 18:09:13
" and everyone knows its shortsighted "
Dangerous territory that SY mate, when we start believing everyone else secretly shares our thoughts and feelings but some people just won't admit to it. i'm not sure that's a good a way to think about things mate.
24 Oct 2026 23:39:32
True 62 - but if an overstatement & clearly I didn't mean everyone as Sussex and many on here think otherwise
Many people on here, at home and pundits. the club clearly wanted more fire power & selling both LWs attracted a lot of criticism
But you are right & thank you sir.
25 Oct 2026 06:33:53
Thing is I agree regarding the left wing and have said selling both Tross and Martinelli is a dereliction of duty. Not just us but the World Cup will cause plenty more injuries. Can't legislate for them all unless you are Chelski and have 60 players. Not going so well there! Point is we have who we have ( a strong squad universally ( can I use that word) praised.
You can't have prime Messi and substitute with prime Ronaldo. Oh and two goals by CB and the team still count don't they! Squad doing okay so far. Enjoy the extra hour! COYG.
25 Oct 2026 09:25:33
Hi Gloucestershire, Martinelli was confusing because clearly he didn't want to go and clearly we didn't have anyone coming in to replace him so it was a strange one, what the thinking behind letting him go at that time was I'm not at all sure but for me Arteta has well and truly earned the right to do things his way in my opinion.
Ive no problem at all with our CBs providing the goals i could careless if Raya scores the winning goals as long as we win, plus I thought we played well yesterday against a decent Everton team. Up The Arsenal ๐.
25 Oct 2026 09:38:39
Hi Sy mate.
The fact is we are joint top of the table again after yesterday's results and we are once again going well in the champions league. Yes in some possible future our summer transfer window could possibly cost us but if we all worried about everything that might possibly happen at some point in some imaginary future and refused to enjoy the reality of what is factually happening in the real world here and now then we'd all be making life unnecessarily tough for ourselves.
I thought we played well yesterday and got a good result against a well organised Everton team so I genuinely can't see anything to be upset about, in fact i think we have evey reason to be feelings pretty chirpy and optimistic about everything right now mate.
25 Oct 2026 13:07:36
My opinions has no effect what so ever on MA team sheets, it's just an opinion 62, but I bet you can't wait for the I told you so comments in a couple of months pmsl, no I don't want one of my teams players to get injured why would I, I just said we need to have a serious question about saka! If you don't agree that's fine just don't make things up like some have done, Jesus Christ! I wish I never said anything now, I trust MA with what ever he does, including pick the team which no matter what you think I have no say on,
25 Oct 2026 13:13:22
Stick to football 62 you go waaaaaay off track with your silly essays about life, Jesus you must have one great life where nothing ever goes wrong, that doesn't happen ever! Some people will moan about something in football even if it's perfect! All I've said I think saka could do better as in actual beat a man, yes he gets doubled up so do most wingers he needs to do more of you don't like my opinion fair enough, I don't agree on most of yours but I won't keep on and on about it and bring it up on another post lol hope all is well.
25 Oct 2026 13:24:29
Paul Parker said it best - "Madueke frightens defenders and goes at people. Saka doesn't bother defenders, they know what he's going to do, he's too predictable"
I know noni isn't the best player in the world, but he seems to have a go at defenders instead of slowing down the cutting back inside, noni actually takes players on, I'm sure it's something like this I seen last 3 games saka has dribbled past 3 players noni is on8/9, and as for you post saying that I'm happy saka is injured what a ridiculous thing to say, why on earth would I want my own player injured, I said dropped not injured absolutely ridiculous comment.
25 Oct 2026 13:54:48
If you read my comment again, you will see i didn't accuse anyone including yourself of wanting Saka injured.
Talk about over the top Dublin, you've so far posted 4 different comments in reply to my comment about Saka being out.
I personally believe we are better with than without Saka but hopefully we will cope without him and his not being available won't affect us to badly.
25 Oct 2026 14:05:42
I post after each comment because I think about something else to say, or isn't that aloud in your perfect world heheh, so January that's what your waiting for to say I told you so! Crack on mate it's still my opinion, like I said if saka comes back and scores 50 goals do you really think ill be upset, I support Arsenal not saka ill wait for a reply god forbid I post 3 in a row.
25 Oct 2026 14:57:31
So you agree then? It's not crappy news for us who wanted him dropped - we wanted it by choice, not by injury.
And don't bring Arteta into it like he's infallible. Arteta himself said Saka had fluid on his thigh and was playing through it. That's WHY his numbers fell off a cliff - 2 in 19, 5 dribbles in 10 games. Even Arteta admitted he was flogging him. Wanting him rested/dropped WAS protecting Arteta's player.
My judgment wasn't 'better than Arteta' - it was literally what Arteta is now forced to do vs Slavia Prague and in the league. We just beat Everton 2-0 without him looking more direct with Noni. That's not me vs Arteta, that's football vs feelings.
I want Saka back 100% fit and cooking, but I also want Arsenal winning. Those two things can be true at the same time. If you think wanting a player benched for form means you want him injured, you don't understand football debate at all mate.".
25 Oct 2026 15:38:25
How many times ๐ I never once said you or any other Arsenal fan wanted Saka injured, in fact i went out of my way to say i didn't believe any Arsenal fans actually wanted Saka injured.
Deary Deary me Dublin ๐ค๐ค๐ค.
25 Oct 2026 16:00:39
You said "It's not crappy news for those fans who wanted Saka dropped mate"
What is the crappy news? That Saka got injured.
So you are saying Saka getting injured is not crappy news for those who wanted him dropped. That is saying we would be happy he is injured, whether you name names or not.
Then you say "I'm not saying anyone wanted Saka to get injured" in the very same sentence. Those two things don't go together.
If it's not crappy news for us that he is injured, you are saying it's good news for us. Which is saying we wanted him injured.
You did mention him getting injured, and you did link it to people who wanted him dropped being happy. That's what you wrote.
And for the record, like I've said on every occasion, if Saka comes back and is the difference to win us the title I'll be more than happy.
But if we go on and win a few and look more balanced without him, I might just be tempted to give you a gentle reminder of your claims about us all. All in the name of banter of course ๐.
25 Oct 2026 16:20:57
Fine by me Dublin ๐. If results and performance genuinely do improve without Saka i will very happily eat as much humble pie as you care to serve me mate. In fact I'll cook and serve myself a very healthy serving of humble pie should this turn out to be the case ๐ฅง๐ฅง๐ฅง๐ฅง๐ฅง๐ฅง๐ฅง๐ฅง๐ฅง.
25 Oct 2026 16:36:48
I'm not here for "I told you so " We both support Arsenal at the end of the day and I want what's best for the club same as you. I don't claim to be the next Pep, just saying what I think like everyone else on here. an opinion.
Just to be clear I never wanted Saka injured, no Arsenal fan would. Wanting him dropped for form and wanting him injured are two totally different things.
And why would I come back and say I told you so? I want what's best for Arsenal not to be right, not that I'm saying I am right anyway. If Saka comes back and wins us the league I'll be buzzing, if we play better without him I'll be buzzing too, as long as Arsenal win that's all I care about ๐
So for me if noni performs I'm buzzing if saka comes back and performs ill be buzzing I don't understand why that doesn't make sense to some,
22 Oct 2026 08:05:31
Great team performance. I thought we competed for every ball and was up to the challenge
I couldn't knock any of our players they all played a part
Hoping sakas jury is only a knock but I see enough of Noni to see a ready made replacement
Bring on the toffees
Eie.
22 Oct 2026 08:57:52
We played well and were competitive, good to get the point at a difficult place. Kai and Bruno were missing in the game that hampered us in the final third. Great ball from Odegaard and great finish by Eze. Sad about Saka, hope it is not long term. We need Tzolis back asap, we suddenly look light in the attacking areas.
21 Oct 2026 22:27:51
9 times out of 10 this team finds a way to get a good result. People can and do knock them, and pick faults with and within them but the players and manager just keep going forward together despite the noise people make about them.
Another fantastic result tonight away from home against of Europe's very top teams ๐๐๐๐.
21 Oct 2026 23:07:04
Hope you n the fam are well 62.
I thought we played brilliantly tonight, like you said against one of your dominant fives in Europe in there own back yard pretty sure I heard they hadn't been beaten there since 2019 so coming away with not losing.
I'll take that. We could have won also it' was end to end. Great game to watch.
Let's keep pushing!
Champions champions champions โค๏ธ๐ค.
22 Oct 2026 00:01:20
Super result away from home against a weakened Bayern - thought it was a tough penalty. Good around performance - may be a little more from Kai, Noni & Bruno would have been good. Nice goal from Captain Rice and lay off from Vik. Bruno needs to get up to speed quick. Well done Eze.
22 Oct 2026 08:19:49
Hi Jeg mate, all good my end thanks mate and hope its the same with you and yours ๐
It was a cracking game between two of Europe's best teams and the players and manager once again got the job done. There were as there will always be imperfections from both teams but once again this Arsenal came away with a very good result ๐.
Up The Arsenal ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐.
22 Oct 2026 08:40:49
Agree with most of above! Musiala Olise and Kimmich out but we had Saliba Tszolis and Saka for most of the game. Bayern weakened but arguably so were we. Hardly Bayern's second string! Almost as if if we won the excuse was there! BBC and TNT worst for this COYG.
22 Oct 2026 12:16:17
Hi Cheshire, because of our incredible squad strength we were able to cope really without 3 important players and achieve a result in Munich that Bayern were simply unable to achieve at the Emirates 12 months
Its been a very long time since we've had it this good, and the actual facts rather than opinions seem to support this claim.
