Good day to all Ed's and fellow gunners, hope alls good. news outlets reporting hincapie on way to London season long loan with option to buy with 5 year deal lined up if we activate the deal reported to be for around £45 million. THE DON?️ strikes again. ???.
1.) 30 Aug 2025 18:01:56
So Havertz is injured and we need another forward…….
2.) 02 Sep 2025 08:25:02
Very annoyed Isak wasn’t interested in us and we lost Rodrygo because of wages (that I’m happy about)
3.) 03 Sep 2025 05:14:30
Fees for Isak Prohibitive, Rodrygo unproven in the EPL.
4.) 04 Sep 2025 07:21:25
We enquired about both. Isak wasn’t interested and Rodrygo was after £350k per week which I agree for a player who could be flaky was far too big a gamble.
23 Aug 2025 16:18:57
Eze has passed his medical. done deal. berta THE DON?️ strikes again. ???.

Evening all Ed's and fellow gunners, hope all's well. was just reading an article. (don't know if there's real truth in it) . stating that we are considering taking Leroy sané from Bayern when he's contract expires making the 28 year old winger a free transfer. (really hefty wages though, reportedly on £320grand a week at Bayern) . I personally feel if Arteta can get the best out of him, he'd be a solid addition to our squad. just wondered what you guys may think. if he's worth a go with the gunners.? . ?⚪️❤️.
{Ed002's Note - Leroy Sane (W/AM) Bayern Munich are open to a new contract but financial expectations are far apart. I expect Middle East might be a viable solution with Al Nassr. Newcastle has a declared interest. Liverpool were, and may still be, keen to take him as a Salah replacement. I would not rule out Arsenal taking him, as they do have interest. Free agent in the summer, but huge wage demands.}

Cheers Ed 002, thanks for insight, ✌?& ??.

Decent result thought it was a very professional performance from start to finish. well pleased for victor. hopefully he can go on a bit of scoring streak now, what I will say about him. you can not knock the effort he puts in. I think once he gets fully used to this team and them to him. we will see him hit beast mode. then we will really be cooking. ?⚪️❤️. COYG/ VTH.
1.) 21 Oct 2025 22:47:55
Decent Gabi? I'd describe it as much more than decent mate ?.
2.) 21 Oct 2025 23:07:24
Hi g62 hope alls good. it was a mr Kipling of a result…. exceedingly good. ????.
3.) 22 Oct 2025 03:52:18
One thing I haven't seen mentioned much is that Gyökeres causes so much chaos that Martinelli has been getting far more space to play in. His goal (and MLS' run) tonight were our goal of the season so far for me. So pleased for Gabi.
18 Oct 2025 19:59:09
Well deserved 3 points away from home. really looking forward to when we really start to click going forward I feel it's not too far away. on the penalty decision I can see why it wasn't given but think var and ref both overlooked the fact that the first bit of contact by Kevin which was definitely inside the area was his knee on saka's thigh which caused saka to loose his balance whilst trying to cut inside. they concentrated to much on if Kevin touched the ball or not and totally missed knee on thigh contact. but hey we won away whilst not being at our best. take the win,3 points and go again. still plenty of room for improvement on our behalf. COYG/ VTH. ?⚪️❤️.
1.) 18 Oct 2025 20:57:50
Defenders ( and football itself) union never a penalty Gabi. Eze was lazy today, we were average but always likely winners. If Gyorkeres is a lemon ( I like him and his industry, goals will come) then Beto and even DCL who you punted a little while ago to do a job for us Ed25 then they are fecking lemon tree orchard!
Forget Leeds who were in Championship then we got 7 points from our fixtures last season whilst this season we have 16. Gyorkeres may not be Haaland but he has played nearly all those games. Maybe we did need a striker and viktor may not score 20plus but with him we are nine points better off COYG.
{Ed025's Note - in the end its just my opinion SUSSEX, you are right about Beto and Barry is even worse, my shout about DCL being an option for you was because he was on a free and you needed a target man mate, mark my words on Gyokeres though mate...if its yellow..looks like a lemon and tastes like a lemon...then its usually a lemon, as i say you have a very good squad but i never thought i would say "come back Kai all is forgiven", i really hope you win the league but i feel scoring goals will still be a major problem..
2.) 18 Oct 2025 21:39:13
As they say Ed025 styles make fights! Haaland has scored two thirds of City’s goals and they’ve scored more than us. He is a goal machine. Yet we are top mainly because our defence is top notch! It could be argued if Haaland gets injured C£ty won’t score anywhere near as many goals but take two of our defenders out such is the squad depth Hincapie, Mosquera, White etc would still be a very strong defence. When C£ty beat us to title unfortunately for us Foden scored a bucket load . Going to be a rollercoaster as always and Pool may turn it around quickly! Rarely does one player make such a difference, put Haaland in ours, Pool or Chelski and that team wins the league! Shows how poor C£ty were last season. Was going to say Spuds but that’s positively ridiculous COYG Do strikers win titles or does defence? Guess we’ll find out.
{Ed025's Note - your defence is excellent SUSSEX and even your back-ups are top notch and thats a big advantage over the others, Pool and city are stronger up top and will score more goals for sure and there is not much between the midfields imo, them 2 have better keepers i would say and its going to be fine margins as to who actually takes the title mate, but im saying City will be a poor 3rd..
3.) 18 Oct 2025 23:35:28
Top of the table and we all agree we are not yet at our best, exciting thought for us but must be a very scary thought for our competition and their fans.
4.) 19 Oct 2025 07:59:30
Very true 62 - but we need to find that gear and Viktor his boots very soon. Great to be top but Liverpool will come out of this patch soon. City are there also. We don’t have 3 months nor does Viktor - as I said. Top of the League - well done as I’ve said before.
5.) 19 Oct 2025 09:42:37
Hi SY mate, no offence but i genuinely think your looking too far ahead and finding things for yourself to worry about mate.
As things stand we have the best squad we've had in a very long time. We are top of the table and most people Arsenal fans, neutral fans and pundits agree we are still currently playing within our capabilites rather punching above our true weight which surely has to be good news rather than something to worry about
Obviously the things you say about Liverpool, City and us have the potential to become a reality but equally they have the very same potential to join life's very long list of things that people worried about and predicted throughout history that never actually happened.
As Winston Churchill once said " in life's steeple chase, we can only ever truly jump each fence as we come it " and surely you wouldn't argue with Winnie, would you ????.
6.) 19 Oct 2025 10:48:29
Ordinary performance but a great result!
7.) 19 Oct 2025 04:39:20
I think our midfield is better at defending ed but agree that we're going to get outscored by most other good teams. I think we had to go for a striker from somewhere and after the criticisms about faffing about near the box, I get why Arteta went for someone as direct as Gyokeres. I think he'll come good eventually, needs to work on his touch mind you.
{Ed025's Note - i hope he does Wire, he was very good in the Championship and also in Portugal but this is the Premiership mate and there are no easy rides..
8.) 19 Oct 2025 15:52:08
Hi Sussex hope alls well. if you watch the not given penalty call from yesterday’s game as saka cuts inside. Kevin catches saka’s thigh with his knee which takes saka off balance had that not have happened saka would have been able to be in one off his favourite positions on the pitch. inside edge of box ready to unleash trade mark left footed curler goalwards. saka is travelling at pace slight knee to thigh is more than enough to send you off balance. I can see why people may think the fact Kevin does get a foot to the ball and don’t believe it was a penalty. because he did get a foot to the ball. but only a split second after the leg that said foot is connected to clearly caught saka’s thigh. there was no other reason for saka to go down when he clearly knew he was about to get a shot away on goal. (this is only my humble opinion buddy) . and admittedly would have thought it was harsh if it had happened the other way round and Fulham had got a penalty but would have accepted it because there was enough contact to warrant it. but like I said yesterday. alls well that ends well. we take the 3 points and move on. knowing that even when we aren’t playing too great we are still clocking up the wins… wait till really click up front. COYG/ VTH ?⚪️❤️.
9.) 19 Oct 2025 18:40:08
I disagree with you Ed025 - said it a few weeks ago but I think its between us and City, Liverpool are a mess.
Your assessment on gyok may unfortunately prove more reliable, but there's plenty time for the lad and having not spent 120m on him we do have room for future additions.
{Ed025's Note - mine is just an opinion SirW, and i think Liverpool finish above City myself mate, things can change very quickly in this game..
10.) 19 Oct 2025 23:19:53
No offence taken at all 62 and I love hearing your view. We both know we need to kick on, that we are not clicking yet however top of league albeit after a small number of games. I’m not worried just stating we need to find 4th and 5th gear pretty soon.
Hope you are good ?.
11.) 20 Oct 2025 00:26:48
I would like us to play kai and jesus. We should play to our strength two seasons ago was our best season for a while. N we had no striker use gykroes as sub when things are not going right gykroes will offer something different. Come January hope to strengthen upfront. Until enjoy the season. Top of the table baby.
05 Oct 2025 08:30:03
Morning all Ed's and fellow gunners, hope alls well. nice home win yesterday. very comfortable throughout. in all honesty thought West Ham may have offered a bit more with new manager bounce and being a north v east London derby. could have and should've had more goals. so still a bit more improvement to be had on our behalf. one moment in the game caught my eye, and i thought it really showed the unity in our squad and a real bit of class from trossard. eze missed a sitter and Leo was on him in a flash. come on mate keep your head up. everyone is there for each other. love it. will say gutted for odegaard taking another knock. he was just starting to look like he was really finding his form. hope rice gets over his problem during the break. and lastly just wanted to say zubimendi different class. COYG/ VTH ?⚪️❤️.
1.) 05 Oct 2025 11:13:45
I noticed that as well Gabi and thought the same.
2.) 05 Oct 2025 13:13:23
Hammers whining about Rice being disrespectful. GET LIFE I SAY.
He’s moved onto bigger and better things and still shows you respect despite Hammers giving him ?.
3.) 05 Oct 2025 15:04:04
I've never minded the Hammers, and if Arsenal ever ceased to exist, it would be a toss up between them and Palace I think as to who I would lean towards supporting. I wanted them to win the Conference thing when they did, but I was also surprised to hear some of their supporters 'gloating' about us finishing second again last year.
I'm sure they were singing with (Man Citeh? ) about that and cheering for City goals as they went in against them as it put the nail in our coffin. I may have it wrong who they were playing though.
I thought the two clubs got on Ok and there is the obvious hatred with Spurs we share. Do any other Gunners fans like or dislike West Ham? Or if any West Ham fans read this, what are your thoughts regarding The Arsenal?
4.) 05 Oct 2025 15:18:50
Regarding any set of football fans the world over… if your big enough to give it the large… then you got to have the minerals to take it… West Ham fans have a nerve… Declan has always shown respect towards them. if it was me and they gave me the crap they give him… I’d knee slide towards them with my shirt over my face ravanelli style. (a lot of you will remember ravanelli, some younger posters won’t. ) . so it was nice to see decs give a little back. about time… I remember adebayor running the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of us, absolutely hated it at the time. but understood the emotion. we had been slating him, and yes some of it was not pleasant at all… but guess what…. life goes on. he seems a pleasant enough bloke so no hard feelings. if you dish it, be big enough to take it… I love the banter at football….
5.) 05 Oct 2025 15:19:06
I was cheering for them to win too….
6.) 05 Oct 2025 20:17:59
You have summed it up in a nutshell Gabi mate.
If you can't take it don't dish it out.
28 Sep 2025 21:18:34
JUSTICE SERVED. Excellent away win at what's been a tricky venue for us the last few years. thought we played well. especially when we play the quick attacking one touch football (hand brake off) . only 2points off the top and a long way to go. Liverpool have Chelsea next week after we play West Ham, who we definitely should not take lightly as they have a bit of a habit of upsetting the apple cart. we've got to do a number on them and take the top spot before the evening game and put some pressure on the rest. COYG/ VTH. ?⚪️❤️.
1.) 29 Sep 2025 04:01:41
Re: the handbrake thing, just shows that it's not just about the players as Merino was the gamechanging sub today. Really good at linking the play and pushing us forward, then a top-drawer glancing header for the equaliser.
Loved to see the rest of the lads tell him to get his arse back to the centre circle as well so we could find the winner!
28 Sep 2025 11:35:51
Eddie ⚽️?& Danny ⚽️⚽️??yesterday. once a gunner always a gunner ? it's now up to us to do the business today. COYG/ VTH. ?⚪️❤️.
1.) 28 Sep 2025 13:11:30
Hello Gabi hope you and everyone are well.3pts today is a must. Chelsea playing Liverpool next week where as we have a game against the Hammers which no disrespect to them we should win which would take us into the international break top of the prem
Take care Gabi.
2.) 28 Sep 2025 13:51:58
Playing Newcastle under Eddie Howe is almost always a really tough game to get 3pts from, but if we are going to be champions its a game where we have be brave and go for those 3pts from start to finish.
Mikels over cautious approach against Liverpool and City has raised a question mark about whether he has the mentality to take us that final step up from challengers to champions even amongst many fans who have previously backed him, hopefully his approach today will go a long way to easing people's concerns about him and his ability to see the excellent job he's done at Arsenal up to now to its ultimate conclusion.
I have no doubts about our excellent squad/ teams capability to win one or both of the big trophies on offer i just hope Arteta gets to the manager who leads us to them.

Morning sy, hope alls well…. Big thumbs up on timber. what a player. also think Riccy fury has been quietly and efficiently going about his business on the opposite side of defence. the mad thing is that once this squad really gets to know each others game. some teams are going to be getting thumped by the ARSENAL. I was looking at the difference between last season’s bench and yesterday’s. the difference in quality is absolutely nuts… COYG/ VTH ?⚪️❤️.

Everyone has their opinion on arsenals greatest player. Henry is known as the king and well deserved title. but my favourite player who 100% helped Henry achieve what he did for our great club. was the genius, the one and only bergkamp when you watched him on t. v he was great. but when you watched him in the flesh at Highbury you realised… the pure genius he was. absolute mustard….
