I am reading a lot about trying to sign Andrey Santos, can any of the Eds enlighten me on this?
{Ed001's Note - a number of clubs are interested, but Chelsea have yet to make a decision on him. He had such a good season, but they already have Caicedo and Lavia for the role, so I expect he will be sold for a good offer though.}
1.) 18 May 2025 13:12:05
Ed001
I think due to Lavia's injury record, we will bring Santos back for next season starting with the CWC.

Will any of the Eds answer this. Do we have any backup plan if we don't get Zubimuedi? Names please .
Thanks.
{Ed014's Note - sorry gora, I can’t answer that one, I’d assume, like always, we’ll have a number of targets for that role.
I don’t think we’ve actually been linked with anyone else that I can remember.
The rumours are very strong that it will be Zubimendi, much as I’d personally prefer Baliba.
1.) 06 May 2025 07:03:25
Tnx, let us know if you come to know something.
2.) 10 May 2025 11:09:01
Twitter saying Zubimendi deal has been agreed.
11 Apr 2025 08:00:57
I am reading about us and Gyokeres, have we dropped Sesko from potential signing?
1.) 11 Apr 2025 21:12:00
It is believed that Sesko if he leaves for the epl will choose Manu. Arsenal have tried to shore up leaks this year as they were disappointed last summer with how some stores got out. I do expect better relationships following negotiation this summer. which wasn't always the case with Edu.
29 Mar 2025 09:48:49
Will any of the Eds please answer this if possible. Are we looking to sign only one forward or more?
{Ed001's Note - not sure mate, regime change has made it difficult to find out for sure much.}
20 Mar 2025 08:12:30
I am reading that Liverpool is interested in Alvarez from Atletico, do we have any interest in him? He certainly would make a great striker and has PL experience.
1.) 22 Mar 2025 05:32:19
I believe they were interested before he moved to Atletico, and that neither he nor his lass found much joy from living in england. I suspect it's a no.
2.) 25 Mar 2025 23:12:26
Argentinian? She probably felt the same as Di Maria's misses
"Manchester is the WORST. Everything is horrible in Manchester. ” ?⬇️ “We lived in Madrid and Ángel played for the best club in the world. We were good, perfect weather, great food. and suddenly this proposal from Manchester came. "
3.) 25 Mar 2025 23:39:07
I forgot there was more! ?
"I remember Angel coming up and saying, ‘An offer from Manchester United has come in. Maybe we will be a little more financially secure’. But we fought about it, ” she told Los Angeles de la Manana.
“I told him, not a chance, he could go on his own. ‘No, come on. Let’s go’, he replied.
“There was a lot of money involved, and afterwards, the Spanish were calling us peseteros (people only interested in money) . And they were right! If you are working for a company and the competition comes along and offers to pay you double, you take it! ”
“I didn’t want to go to Manchester because at that moment in time, I was friends with Gianinna Maradona, who was married to [Sergio] Aguero, and we flew from Madrid to his house in Manchester to pay him a visit for two or three days when Angel had a few days off at Real Madrid, ” she said.
“It was horrible! All of it was horrible, we went to the house and we were like. ‘See you later guys, we’re out of here’. When we left, I said to him, ‘Go to any country – except England’. Anyway, one year later and there we were in England and it was horrible, a sh*thole. ”
“You’re walking down the street and you don’t know if they’re going to kill you or what, ” she added. “The food’s disgusting. All the girls are all dolled up to the nines, perfectly made-up and there’s me with my hair in a bun and with no make-up on. ”.

Could any of the Eds or guys here tell me why we seem to have switched from Gyokeres to Sesko? I thought that the Gyokeres deal was all wrapped up .
{Ed001's Note - it was never all wrapped up and Sesko was always the preferred choice.}
1.) 30 May 2025 15:06:54
From what I've heard they're actively talking to both players. Sesko is the first choice but I believe we're playing it safe talking to gyokeres just in case it doesn't work out with sesko.
2.) 30 May 2025 19:29:27
Anyone else prefer gyok?
3.) 30 May 2025 21:24:50
I’d prefer Gyokeres because he’s more the finished article, has experience of the English game and could hit the ground running . Sesko has loads of potential, but is quite similar to Kai.
I’m sure the guys at the club know more than me though ?♂️.
4.) 31 May 2025 08:16:59
I keep seeing these comparisons to kai and don't agree at all. He's a much better finisher and striker of the ball. Plus he is a demon in the air which is something gyokores lacks.
5.) 31 May 2025 11:18:28
Personally I think it's easy to see the faults and short comings of the players we have and over estimate the attributes of the players we would like to see the club replace them with, until of course the replacement player starts playing for us and we begin to notice their short comings more than their attributes.
Jesus is a good example of this, most people were very excited by his arrival and choose to over look the reasons City were prepared to let him go, until he started to struggled in the very same arrears with Arsenal as he had at City.
6.) 31 May 2025 12:36:57
I'm not saying we shouldn't look to upgrade we most definitely should try something different.
Haaland was an absolute goal machine at Dortmound and has simply carried on where he left off at Dortmound with City. Champagne Charlie was equally an absolute goal machine at Celtic but struggled to get anywhere close to his Celtic level at Arsenal.
All new singings are a gamble but gambling is a necessary part of improving and those managers and people who run clubs that gamble most wisely tend to stay in their job's the longest.

If we are going to sign Sesko and Zubimundi in the summer, can we afford to sign a striker now?
08 Oct 2024 14:52:28
Ed 002, Can you please let us know in non legal terms what exactly was the case of EPL vs Manchester City was and what is the outcome of it .
Thanks as always.
{Ed002's Note - The EPL vs Manchester City is an on-going case regarding 115 charges ranging from vast amounts of trivial noise to perhaps three serious charges.}
1.) 08 Oct 2024 16:12:38
Not fair for manchester *hitty to get away Scott free. 115 charges and have got away with it.
{Ed002's Note - where do you get this rubbish from.}
2.) 08 Oct 2024 17:00:23
What are the three serious charges please ed?
31 Mar 2024 09:23:49
Has any sort of contact made regarding Martín Zubimendi?
{Ed002's Note - I am not interested in such questions.}
1.) 31 Mar 2024 12:06:30
SETI haven't admitted or denied anything on this question, the truth is out there ?.
15 Aug 2023 13:43:00
Does anyone has any news about Timber's injury?
1.) 15 Aug 2023 14:02:40
Just a splinter
ill get my coat.
2.) 15 Aug 2023 14:42:57
Waiting for further assessment of the injury Gora but looking like a meniscus injury with a lenghty spell on the sidlines. 3 to 4 months.
Rumours of an ACL injury but usually they are picked up quite quickly, hence Mings and Militao having a diagnosis straight away. If it were ACL then 6-9 months.
Devastating for us ?.
3.) 15 Aug 2023 22:25:33
Was actually having sip of peroni and spat it out laughing with that sparky ? brilliant. Edinburgh fringe for you next year.
4.) 15 Aug 2023 22:26:41
Think you are barking up the wrong tree Sparky.
5.) 16 Aug 2023 09:39:54
He's definitely barking up the wrong tree!
6.) 16 Aug 2023 09:40:17
Haha Sparky great minds.
7.) 16 Aug 2023 09:41:10
I'll try again!
He's definitely branching out. Lol.
8.) 16 Aug 2023 12:27:51
That leaves me laughing out load Sally.
06 May 2025 07:03:25
Tnx, let us know if you come to know something.
15 Jan 2025 11:57:58
Will he be enough if both Partey and Jorghino leave?
15 Aug 2024 07:35:03
Fullkrug plays for Germany, played in both, the World Cup and European . That makes his CV better than Eddie.
07 Jul 2024 10:00:09
Wrong, it is Per Mertesacker.
21 Jun 2024 09:27:40
Thanks as always.
20 Jul 2023 08:13:00
Gundogan, Laporte, B Silva, Mahrez with all of them gone it might be a different City this year, who knows if it is for better or worse.
23 Jun 2023 09:32:56
By the team we turn to Caicedo, Chelsea may have fixed up things with him.
22 Jun 2023 06:18:54
From what I am reading, we shouldn't be sure about Rice .
19 Jun 2023 12:49:05
With 2 outgoing and 2 incoming we will be in a worse state than last season . Just these 2 and Jorghino to play 50 + matches?
27 Jul 2022 09:34:07
Are you satisfied with what your team has added ?
