R we looking for any left sided winger Eds. Possible upgrade for martinelli/ trossard?
{Ed001's Note - yes mate, you have been following Gittens closely this season, so I assume that is as a replacement/upgrade on that position.}
1.) 29 Nov 2024 09:13:49
Is he any good Trish?
2.) 01 Dec 2024 10:18:00
Looks like we're not the only club interested in him!
3.) 01 Dec 2024 10:43:28
Much as I love martenelli and trossard as certainly need someone better and more consistent.
4.) 01 Dec 2024 21:22:59
Gittens would be an incredible signing. Rapid, strong, direct and still raw with loads more potential.
5.) 02 Dec 2024 19:32:24
Whilst Trossard is a good squad player and I've not given up on Martinelli entirely, we definitely need to sign a starter for LW. A striker too, in case anyone forgot. (;

Any chance of Arsenal getting a player like de Jong or Tchumeni as Partey replacement. Are arsenal looking for anyone in particular?
{Ed002's Note - Bruno Guimaraes (DM) Real Madrid and Barcelona maintain an interest but he is not top of the list for either although Barcelona may switch their attention to him but would want to offer players in any deal. Chelsea interest has likely gone but Manchester City remain keen. Newcastle need to avoided FFP issues and he may well be one to leave. Long-term Arsenal interest went with the signing of Rice although they are looking to replace Partey, Elneny and Jorginho and he may become first choice with Zubimendi likely not available. PSG may offer a summer option if Ugarte departs.
Manuel Ugarte (DM) Agent has said that the player and PSG may be open to a move if the right offer is made. He has spoken with Chelsea but it is difficult to see if they have a need. He has also spoken with Juventus, Newcastle, Milan, Spurs and Arsenal. I suspect Italy is the most likely destination.
Amadou Onana (DM/CB/CM) Only moved to Everton in 2022 and they are not looking to sell him but with troubles mounting they may have to listen to offers. West Ham interest has returned and Arsenal may look again after failing to agree alternatives, but they must now be seen as a wildcard option. Newcastle spoke with Everton in the summer and have failed to sign their primary DM/CM target but could return again this summer. Manchester United had him a long way down their list of targets but failed to sign preferred options in the summer and he may still be of interest, but I rather doubt it. Chelsea interest has gone. Barcelona may look to some horse trading but they have to deal with their own financial issues. Real Madrid may look to a player plus cash deal, but he would largely be used as cover. Another wildcard could be Bayern Munich if the cannot sign Palhinho - but they may have a new coach in the summer. Everton will look to trying to raise £60M.
Manuel Locatelli (DM) Opted to move to Juventus on a two year loan with an obligation to buy deal over the interest of Shakhtar Donetsk and Arsenal in 2021. Arsenal offer him a wildcard option for this summer. Joshua Kimmich (DM/RB) Bayern Munich will now make him available in the summer unless he agrees to a new contract, a significant fee of around €90M would be sought - well beyond what interested sides Barcelona or Manchester City would pay for a 28 year old on €400k per week although Manchester City may well look to find a solution that suits everybody. However, talks have already been held with Al Ahli over a move. A wildcard option would be Manchester United or perhaps Arsenal.
Joao Palhinha (DM/CM) Fulham will not look to sell unless a huge offer is made and the player asks for a move. All interest except that of Bayern Munich, Arsenal and possibly Newcastle will have gone with the signing of a new contract although Manchester United and Liverpool have had a will respected ex PL and high-end independent scout watch the player on their behalf - although both have other targets. Agent has spoken with Manchester City and Chelsea, and either may offer an option. Fulham will still look to replacements as they fear the player could have his head turned by Bayern Munich or Arsenal, who see him as an option to Trindade, who Fulham are also keen on. He will be 29 at the start of next season.
Martin Zubimendi (CM/DM) Barcelona may still look to an offer although they are looking at preferred options first and would likely want to include a player in any deal. Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea have sent scouts with Arsenal declaring an interest with his club. Bayern Munich see the cost of his release clause as too high. Real Sociedad may look to refusing a transfer unless his buy out clause is met in full. Player wants Barcelona and may stay another year to try and get a move in 2025.
Hugo Larsson (CM/DM) Youngster who joined Frankfurt in the summer of 2023 from Malmo has attracted scouts from Arsenal and Newcastle. Arsenal may well look to a summer offer but EF will refuse to sell.
Douglas Luiz (CM/DM) No longer an option.
Pablo Maia (DM/CB) No longer an option.
Morten Hjulmand (DM/CM) No longer an option.
Ezequiel Fernandez (DM) No longer and option.}

Brilliant info ed002. Much appreciated.
11 Dec 2023 06:49:41
Any striker or midfielder we are looking to bring in January. Any information Eds?
{Ed002's Note - A replacement for Partey will likely be a priority - Ivan Toney remains a target.}
1.) 11 Dec 2023 16:24:44
Szymański from Fenerbahce is being looked at to support the wingers. He has got goals in him and is keen on a move to a a big premiership team. Wolves and Palace enquired.
2.) 13 Dec 2023 17:06:57
Hi ed, any truth Arsenal will make the loan deal of Raya into a permanent deal in January and offer Brentford a loan with obligation to buy in January?
{Ed002's Note - I don’t understand the question.}
3.) 14 Dec 2023 07:55:42
Sorry mate worded it wrong. Is there any truth Arsenal will make the loan deal for Raya permanent in January and make an offer to sign Toney on a loan with obligation to buy in January? (Because you can’t loan two players at the same time from one club)
{Ed002's Note - What happens with Raya could be driven by Ramsdale leaving in January.
Ivan Toney (S) Brentford do not want to sell but are aware Toney may look to move up a step and will reluctantly look to perhaps £70M as a sale price in the summer but will price him far higher to try to avoid a January sale. Newcastle - if they can sell their project to him given - offer the chance of a return to the club who previously could find no use for him in the three years he was there. Arsenal, Leeds, Manchester United, Spurs, Chelsea and West Ham have all sent scouts on more than one occasion to watch him prior to his ban. Arsenal and Chelsea may well start talks ahead of January, but Chelsea have preferred options meaning Arsenal are likely best placed to complete a transfer but Brentford will want to wait until the summer. A wildcard might be Spurs.}
4.) 14 Dec 2023 17:20:44
Thanks ed, have a good Christmas.
21 Jun 2022 17:35:31
Welcome to Arsenal, Fabio Vieira.
18 Jun 2022 13:11:28
Welcome Eddie Nketia. Officially re-signed.
1.) 18 Jun 2022 16:41:34
Gutted lol.
2.) 19 Jun 2022 04:59:16
Gutted for what?
3.) 19 Jun 2022 11:14:58
I don’t think he’s good enough for arsenal.
4.) 19 Jun 2022 12:21:42
To be fair VM when he was put to the test at the end of the season he came through. I'm hopeful he will continue to improve when he is given the chance.
5.) 19 Jun 2022 17:17:36
Hopefully but he won’t get 25 goals a season for us and that’s what we need I’d love it if he did.
6.) 20 Jun 2022 13:30:54
25 a season. No player scored that many goals last season. KDB was Man City’s highest score at 15 and they won the league.
We had Saka and ESR score 10+ goals, we can get more from Martinelli and potentially Odegaard. 15-20 goals would be a great haul from Eddie, and that's if he’s first choice which he probably won’t be.

The signing of Ricardo is a quality bit of work from Edu.
COYG.
5.) 29 Jul 2024 19:50:21
If only he could bang 30 a season in.
Just saying haha.
29 Feb 2024 01:47:13
I think the entire squad trained today, except maybe Zinchenko. I can't remember when we had a fully fit squad last with almost no injuries at one time.
10 Oct 2023 20:17:50
Saw Saka joining up with the England. Has he not withdrawn from the squad?
{Ed014's Note - he went to be assessed by the England medical team and was then sent back home as far as I’m aware Wesley.
1.) 10 Oct 2023 21:46:53
Wesley where you been?
You do realise Rice and the other summer signings aren't officially Arsenal players until?
13 Jun 2022 17:48:47
Welcome to Arsenal, Marquinhos.
29 Aug 2024 02:21:00
Any player from Brighton costs 100 m, so don't think we'll try.
22 May 2024 12:35:35
Thanks for the Update!
12 Aug 2022 06:26:14
These German clubs only respond to interest from Chelsea, City, PSG. Now Newcastle will also be added to the list.
26 Jun 2022 18:36:46
If saliba doesn't want to stay, just sell him. There are plenty of good options. But anyway some news surfacing that Arsenal are already talking about extending his contract, this might just p. off a lot of people who don't want to see him at Arsenal.
24 Jun 2022 15:48:40
We have reached never before seen levels of advance stages in this transfer.
29 Nov 2024 07:36:54
Don't know what you were watching, he went past Kiwior like he didn't exist and hit the post. He hardly got any supply tbh.
29 Jul 2024 17:38:16

05 Sep 2022 07:59:28
He's worsening the more he plays. Should bring in that new brazilian or Vieira against Zurich and Everton. Bring Saka on for last 20 minutes. Needs a break and maybe fight for his place.
19 Jun 2022 05:00:24
both Vieira.
18 Jun 2022 14:31:39
Our first game is against Crystal Palace, so it would be nice if we are winning and we can sing for Vieiras.
