ED002,
Do you which clubs are showing interest in Sanchez?
{Ed002's Note - PSG and Juventus have an interest in Alexis Sanchez and are viable options. Sevilla and Inter have an interest but I doubt they would be an attractive option - adding to that Sevilla would struggle a little financially to make a deal via. Atletico has an interest but I don't see it coming to anything - but they are keen. Manchester City would like folks to believe that they have an interest but in reality they have other preferred options that can likely move them off the list.}

Cheers ED002.
{Ed002's Note - You are welcome.}

Utd fan here, in peace.
For sale - one CB, has international and EPL experience. A European winner with less than average miles on the clock. Part service history, goes by the name of Chris Smalling. Px considered, possibly looking at Sanchez 😉.

That must be why they call you Mad Hatter 😃.
2.) 13 Jun 2017 08:29:56

Congratulations on you guys winning the FA cup. Your players certainly looked up for playing football yesterday.
A question for you all, are you happy if Wenger stays or would you prefer that left after winning the FA cup?
1.) 28 May 2017 11:14:32
I say 1 more he
at to get the right man in.
2.) 28 May 2017 11:15:40
Happy, very happy.
3.) 28 May 2017 12:22:09
Whats changed? Go and let's change, stay and stagnate or go back. Yesterday just highlighted even more our problems. We have won fa cup 3 times in four years but no title challenge each year.
4.) 28 May 2017 14:57:49
Steve,
Calm down with those good vibes mate ðŸ˜.
5.) 28 May 2017 15:16:40
It's fans like steve that are an embarrassment we have just won the fa cup and all he does is moan Wenger can't win, if we had got stuffed Steve would be happy I think.
6.) 28 May 2017 15:24:41
I swear not just on here but over social media some of our fans seem gutted we won just because it made arsene not look totally stupid.
7.) 28 May 2017 15:46:19
Jelfy you are the embarrassment, I've not moaned about wenger and fa cup, if you read you will see I have praised him, its all about the league. You are an embarrassment because you can't accept opinion different than yours. There are people on here that all have different opinions but don't talk crap about others. I have always said don't get personal you don't know me. I don't get personal about you, I don't expect you to get personal about me. My opinion is my opinion so is yours.
8.) 28 May 2017 16:11:32
Bit immature that Jelfy mate, Steve is merely seeing the season and decade as a whole rather than judging our future chances on one brilliant performance against the best team in England.
If nothing changes at the club it's difficult to see why our fortunes in the premier league will change, I can't see how that's negative unless stating the obvious is negative of course.
9.) 28 May 2017 16:35:59
Hi Hatter in answer to your question my heart says stay my head says go.
I like Arsene as person very much and I'm ever so pleased for him to win the FA cup again but I want to challenge for titles again and sadly he's proven over more a decade that is no longer within his capabilities.
10.) 28 May 2017 22:27:57
Steve don't make me laugh fella I've been saying all season you never accept anyone's opinion, all I've seen u do is moan all year, you moan when we lose and u moan when we win, if somone dosnt agree with me I won't put up a 700 word essay I've got bhind my team and manager win lose or draw pity u can't say the same.
11.) 28 May 2017 22:31:05
Gunners how is it immature Iam just pointing out what he's been doing all season with Steve he likes a moan win lose or draw, we won yesterday but has to put a dampener on it by saying about Wenger, if Wenger was to go the new manager would have he same players nothing will change.

ED001,
Fingers crossed.

ED001,
For years they were my go to FIFA team on the PS aswell.
I had hoped that they would have qualified for the CL. but a 5th place finish was pretty good.
I was really happy when Utd signed Herrera and was gutted when they let him go for free, whilst priorising Muppets like PP and JL.
{Ed001's Note - I just hope they can hang on to their best players this summer and maybe next season they can get that CL place.}

Thanks ED001,
I do have a soft spot for Bilbao na duaed to follow them a few years ago They generally stick to their principles, which these days are rare.
{Ed001's Note - I like them too. Though I made the mistake of asking my parents to pick me up a shirt when they were in Bilbao. Only my parents could think I must have meant Sociedad because of the Toshack connection. I mean their shirt is blue and white ffs. No one wants a blue and white footie shirt do they? And Bilbao usually play good footie too, they have the best youth academy, probably in the world. There is a lot to like about them.}
25 Jun 2024 09:37:47
ED001,
Is that something to do with Bilbao only signing Basque players?
{Ed001's Note - yes, there are almost none that don't come from their academy that they can sign. So almost every transfer fee involving them is incoming and they invest heavily in their youth academy and current playing staff's welfare and happiness. Not just big salaries, but all the ephemera that makes them enjoy playing for the club. But obviously the big salaries is a problem for potential buyers as it is very rare they value a Bilbao player as highly as Bilbao do, unless Athletic have someone else in that position coming through.
If there isn't anyone coming through, they can't exactly go out and buy a replacement. They have been a bit more lenient on Basque-links in recent years, but only to a point. It means the pool of players they can sign is tiny.}

He is 32, on a 3 year deal. Makes no sense. His wages demands will be high. Arsenal are becoming more of a retirement home.

Ed047,
I didn't know that. Money will be an issue for a lot of clubs.
{Ed047's Note - definitely will be mate, can’t see anyone wanting to shell out the kind of money that has been thrown around prior to COVID
07 Dec 2020 18:02:00
ED047,
I think he will end up at RM.
{Ed047's Note - didn’t they try and hijack the deal when you were buying him?
The question would be whether they have the money I guess.
07 Dec 2020 14:40:22
Ed047,
I don't think Utd could get more inconsistent as they are right now. It's almost ironic how they can go from being destroyed, to being the destroyers.
{Ed047's Note - it’s amazing mate, Bruno Fernandez is the key to it all for me.
He is a top top signing and I’d love him here.
06 Dec 2020 22:51:08
ED047,
I rate Rashford but I can't help but feel that Politics are getting in the way and effecting him on the pitch. It's commendable what he was done. He deserves all the praise he gets for it aswell.
Don't get me started on Martial. He is a waste of talent and isn't a team player, rather like Pogba.
Both Utd and Arsenal will move up and down the table and go from doom and gloom to we can win some silverware. Realistically both are poorly run clubs. The first half against West Ham, I half expected a headline in the papers, Ole Gunner get sacked.
{Ed047's Note - Hi MH, I agree on Rashford, his work has been fantastic and I’m sure I recall him actually saying he tried not to let it get in the way of his football but like you I’m certain it’s impacting on him.
Greenwood is definitely a talent and I think ultimately he will be the better player.
Martial and Pogba are in a league of their own on that front mate.
Couple of big games coming up for you and will it be West Ham first half or West Ham 2nd half.
We’re currently always West Ham first half! 🤦â€â™‚ï¸ðŸ¤£
It’s hard to see beyond a Liverpool, City, Spurs and Chelsea top 4 as well mate and no idea where we’ll respectively end up.

AOC, Walcott, Carzola, Ramsey, Wiltshire, Wellbeck, Gibbs, Mertersecker, are very injury prone. I've probably missed a few others off.
Wenger has players who had potential instead of world class players, with the exception of Czech and Sanchez.
The problem Arsenal have is that Wenger has more than often bought overrated Ligue 1 played that have cut the mustard in the EPL. Slowly but surely Arsenal have fallen behind.
World class players are must. Old man Wenger is too long in the tooth.
