I'm getting a little bit bored of the Balogun hysteria. I realise full well we're lacking up top, but everyone that is boiling at the thought we are open to allowing Folarin leave, hear me out.
Lacazette's 4 1/ 2 seasons prior to joining us:
119 goals / 195 games - a goal every 1.6 games.
Vs stats for us:
71 goals / 206 games - a goal every 2.9 games with his last season being 6 goals in 36 games, or a goal every six games.
Balogun managed 22 in 39 (or a goal every 1.8 games) in the French top division.
In the same season, Lacazette has managed 31 in 39 which is a goal every 0.8 games.
I also think he may be a bit of trouble, largely baseless, but just the odd thing here and there.

you make a really good point OTBAG, I am not overly fussed either way tbh, it would be nice to see him given a chance but that would be at the expense of Eddie, and while I am not sure Eddie is good enough to be the main man for a whole season, he plays his part exceptionally well when he comes in and out of the team and seems to not cause a scene.
Flo was making noise 3 seasons ago and had a guaranteed starting spot in the first team before he had done anything and that raised a few concerns for me, but on the other hand perhaps he is just that confident in his ability.
I think we just need a resolution either way and quickly if possible.

To be fair we don`t see both in training every day and if the coaches prefer Eddie and Balogun is worth more in the market then it`s a no brainer. Was reading £30 mill for Tavares to Fulham - no idea how reliable - but if true send me his address and I`ll drive him free of charge. Not fussed if Flo goes to Spuds - if we don`t see him as better than Eddie then he ain`t a Kane replacement COYG.

If Eddie plays Eddie scores his stats don’t lie, I’d love a world class forward but we have Eddie while Jesus is out, we didn’t struggle for goals last year but I do think we need a 20/ 25 league goals forward to take on mancity, I personally would sign fatu or fati or futi what ever his name is from Barcelona and give trossard or martinilli a shot uo top and have the Barcelona guy on the wing.

I think the Arteta criticism re. Leno is a bit off. Although I agree Martinez was undroppable after his stint, I'm sure there would have been significant input from the goalkeeper coach/ es.

Slightly disagree mate, I played in a back four at a good level if you have a keeper that doesn’t fill you with confidence it makes you vulnerable and disorganised. The spine of the team is crucial to the strength of the XI on field . Leno has been appalling end of .

His ball distribution, he doesn’t dominate in the box, he punches the majority of the time . Matt Ryan caught more balls in 90 minutes than Leno had the previous 10 games.

Leno has undoubtedly had a poor season mate and i am not looking ti excuse his form but equally he's never had a settled CB paring or even FB pairing to work with and build any kind of understanding with.
Partey and Gabriel have struggled too but in a settled side they would stand more chance of adapting to premier league life and into a new club.
Chopping and changing doesn't help you build anything.
