Not too sure if you are talking immediately or in the distant future, but I don't think BFG will give up without a fight.

Runner up to player of the season (last season), so I don't think he will give up without a fight.

2.) 26 Jan 2015
Kos the boss surely :)

{Ed025's Note - decent shout that je..

3.) 26 Jan 2015
Kos the obvious choice, but bit worrying I can't think of anyone else to make a case for

4.) 26 Jan 2015
You sure about that Dags? I mean an actual fight where people might get hurt? You sure he's up for that mate?

you not a fan G62?

I think he still has a lot to offer, but I can definitely see Paulista taking his place alongside Kos.

6.) 26 Jan 2015
What about Santi? Him or Kos would fit the bill!

7.) 26 Jan 2015
I was before the Stoke and Liverpool incidents Dags quite a big fan, but in the absence of any explanation of his behaviour in those two games I can only assume he didn't think iour club worthy of his standing his ground

8.) 26 Jan 2015
He's upped his game recently and has been great, but its only been recently and is he really a leader and likely to shout at people?

G62,

We all make mistakes mate.
Yes, the Liverpool one was ridiculous but maybe he thought another Arsenal player was behind him, and better positioned to clear the ball.

I remember years ago, Lee Dixon scoring 2 own goals in first 10 mins of a home game.
Players make mistakes mate, but I do understand why the Liverpool one has irked you so much.

I think now Paulista has signed, Mert will up his game.
Remember, he has partnered Kos, Debuchy, Chambers and Monreal at CH this season, that can't be easy not having a 'regular' partner.

I think he will come out fighting.

10.) 26 Jan 2015
We don't have a roll ya sleeves up shouter so we have to choose someone who regularly leads by example with a give their all performances. Has to be Sanchez who has already upped the teams work rate by leading the way.

{Ed025's Note - im with you G62...a leader by example..

11.) 26 Jan 2015
Ramsey is the future captain of Arsenal, no doubt.

12.) 27 Jan 2015
Rosicky is the No.3, wears the armband when both are out and on the pitch

Im not saying make him captain obviously that'll be silly. But we need someone to be captain who is like coq. Just shouting and yelling at people who aren't doing their job properly. Sadly IMO no one fits that description in our team. So it's say kos.

I think our pecking order for captains is / should be.

Arteta
Mertesacker
Flamini (Poor player, but good leader and is vocal)
Koscielny
Rosicky
Ramsey
Wilshere

I think a 'lead by example' captain doesn't really work. You need someone who is vocal and commands respect. Eg Terry, Gerrard or Kompany.

For me Wilshere is like Rooney. Future captain in the making.

15.) 27 Jan 2015
Maybe if he stays - coquelin could get onto that list

16.) 27 Jan 2015
Has to be Kos, if he's fit he starts simple.

17.) 27 Jan 2015
Detroit I agree it has to be someone who is vocal but I also feel it has to be someone whos an automatic starter which makes me aprehensive about your first 3 and only really leaves kos out of the 7
