Thanks for confirming, Wesley. I know many gooners on here are very unhappy with the signing but I like it. He fits what we need, wanted to return, has experience in England, and we play better with him. As far as I'm concerned, £34m for the 22 year old captain of Norway is great business.

In my opinion (and I know a lot of people won't agree! ) this is an absolute steal of a signing.

Odegaard is a major talent, I think his injury whilst playing for Norway stopped us from seeing the best of him, but even then, there were games where he looked class - and he's 22!

I like that in White, Lokonga and Odegaard we have three young leaders too. Add in Tierney and you have 4 future captains there.

I am starting to really like the way the squad is shaping up, but I am not overly confident about this season and still unsure on Arteta.
