Why is partey playing right back why hasn't Gabriel started and what does havertz bring to the table?

Think it’s an Arteta requirement to play at least one person out of position for no obvious reason. Two CBs on bench and he plays a midfielder at RB, normal RB at CB plus Kai in midfield despite not putting in a decent run to earn ashirt in midfield…

We won so I guess Arteta got it right ???.

{Ed014's Note - go easy on the happiness SY ??

No idea don't see the logic of breaking up a sold partnership at the back to experiment with this inverted full back system. Party at right back is just wrong when he such a strong central midfielder just play him in his best position. If you going use this odd method just use Tommy Right and Zinchenko left. Just struggling to see what Kai offers over say Trossard. I mean he was not terrible tonight but was just sort of there neat and tidy enough but not much else really. I don't want to seem like I am knocking him down unfairly as a new player but he has to be doing more for me to warrant a starting place
don't matter if he 65Million worth or not. Nketiah man of match tonight lead the line well i thought.

{Ed014's Note - I was surprised Kai played the whole 90 as Trossard for me would have offered more offensively and defensively.

3pts is all that matters.

Completely agree on trossard over havertz. I'm not for one minute dismissing havertz, but, in my opinion, let havertz be the one to come off the bench to get a feel for the club. Trossard, for me since he arrived absolutely deserves a starting position. His form on average is up there with the stand out performers since he joined in January.

{Ed014's Note - that makes sense for me, takes the pressure off Kai and brings in a really good player whilst Kai gets up and running.

6pts from a possible 6, performances, both personal and collectively leave room for improvement but results are unquestionably a thing of perfection ?

Up the Arsenal.

{Ed014's Note - nice to see us so solid defensively tonight after the sending off.
