Hate to say it as I can see what Arteta has been trying to do with the team, but if he stays too long now I feel we won't have a team.

A new manager now could possibly save the exodus of players wanting to leave, get Saliva back and start creating a team that believes in the manager.

I love Xhakas enthusiasm, but he's always a mistake waiting to happen and unfortunately can't be trusted, why he didn't play lokonga is beyond me, he is so positive in his passing and doesn't keep falling over and slowing the game down.

The problem was playing Odegaard only with Xhaka in front of a back 5. I can't see how he can justify that squad and formation against Man City. He emptied the middle and played RB with CB that not great and doesn't normally play together like that.

A 4-4-2 would likely had been better with the players he had available.

ESR Lokonga Xhaka Saka
PEA Laca

He could have use his 3 changes to take out ESR, Saka and a striker to not be as opened changing to a 4-5-1

I like Xhaka enthusiasm as well but there is no other will to put a foot in with him and take a card or too. But what do I know.

During the development stage MA should approach some games intending to get a draw it rather than expecting to win. And the Man City game was one of those.
