Mathieu Debuchy has been ruled out of action for two months after picking up an ankle injury in Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Manchester City

Oh dear

Again Mr Wenger

Explain the logic of getting rid of Jenks???????????????????????????????

Oh great.

How unlucky are we?

First, Giroud gets attacked at Goodison by a crazy football and now Debuchy gets injured practising his ballet dancing on the pitch.

So, Chambers will cover RB, so get the bubble wrap around Kos and Mert.

How about we do a double signing of Carl Jenkinson and Thomas Vermaelen?

Oh wait,

I'm giving Ed a break from my moaning so all I'll way is *"#+-! I'm (gagged by the way)
*#%&£#!? AND what about
&%%£+-#@.
You couldn't make it up could you

There is no need to worry about the right back position, as good as debuchy is, we have adequate replacements in chambers and bellerin, they may be young, but they haven't let us down yet. IMO they are already better than Jenks. coquelin and flamini can also cover if need be. we need to be upbeat and confident in our own team. have faith in the team and let's get behind them.

Jenks isn't up to scratch Banbury. He needs first team football and we can't give it to him right now. Even with with Debuchy injured he'd be behind Chambers in the order. Hardly good for the soul being ousted by a new boy three years younger than you

5.) 14 Sep 2014
When jenkinson left we had Debuchy chambers and Belerin who can all play right back.
I'm pretty certain Wenger isn't Mystic Meg and didn't foresee Debuchy getting injured.
You being a bit harsh in attacking Wenger on this when we still have 2 fit right backs.

6.) 14 Sep 2014
Rocky

How many positions do you want Chambers to cover?

He is also covering Kos and Per

Be realistic.

Bellerin is completely raw in the PL

7.) 14 Sep 2014
I don't think we should consider chambers a right back, simply because he's out only real cover at cb. I had an awful feeling at the Emirates cup that monreal would be our 4th choice bc when I saw him playing there on the Saturday. At best he's not brilliant defensively so it's a worry. Especially as it also relies on Gibbs being fit enough to play at lb. and bellerin, I'm not sure, but has he ever actually played in the league?

8.) 14 Sep 2014
Bellerin is nowhere near ready for the first team. We have to pray we don't get anymore defensive injuries.

9.) 14 Sep 2014
Hector Bellerin.

10.) 14 Sep 2014
To be fair me and Banbury are big Jenks fans and I personally would liked him to be given his chance with us, but I hear and PL understand the arguments against.
Just think if I was our manger :-)
Jenks at right back
Ozil in the hole
Joel playing and rotating with Ox on the left
And Pogba playing DM
How you'd long for Arsene's return, :-)

Banbury

I am being realistic because like it or not jenkinson isn't an option and it leaves us with Chambers or Belerin.
Like I said Wenger wouldn't have seen into the future and seen this injury to Debuchy. I'm not defending him that where I'm happy with the defensive options because I'm not.
Yes Belerin is raw but Jenkinson was hardly reliable. That's why he's gone on loan to get a run of games and some experience.

12.) 14 Sep 2014
I know he isn't an option, I was questioning the logic. .ave a read again.

It was mentioned we have Chambers AND Bellerin . . not enough especially when KOS and or Per get injured, Chambers will sit in at CB and the worldclass RB in Flamini will slot.

I questioned the wisdom. . . .how overloaded are we elsewhere?

Maybe Sanogo should have gone on loan and Jenks stay put

Now that makes sense

Bellerin will be a dead set star. Mark my words.
