A team that wins leagues and doesn't bottle it season in season out all Arsenal fans getting excited over players like Rice and Havertz. Rice scores about 3 goals a season yet Arsenal want to pay 100 million for him Havertz has been nothing shirt of a disaster in English Football Arsenal will continue to overpay for duds and people nowhere near their valuation for what they gove back it's like Pepe deal all over again I will guarantee Arsenal do not even get top 4 next season veger mind thinking of actually challenging when only reason they did this season was because so many teams were so poor.

I'm a Liverpool fan Sharpe and I haven't seen any Arsenal fans 'getting excited' over Havertz - all of them have been asking the same question; is he what you genuinely need or more of a proper number 9 that doesn't drift deep or wide all the time

Also, Rice is a cdm - surely scoring goals isn't why you would be purchasing him - shielding the back 4 and stopping the other team scoring goals is exactly why you want him - though, 3 goals is a bonus tbh.

Bill, I'm seeing the same thing with regards Havertz. Rice is a mixed bag (no pun intended) of people who really want him and some who wonder if maybe 100 million quid could be better spent (I'm with the latter) .

And you're right, he is a cdm, so there's not really an expectation of goals. But this seems important to stiv, and he's entitled to his opinions no matter how wrong they are.
