Contrary to lots of opinions on here, I don't know any other Liverpool fans who think the league's even remotely done. There's a long way to go and much can happen. People saying we've not been that impressive and convinced you have the better players - so how come you're 9 points behind? Because Odegaard was missing for a few games? Surely that shows up the rest of the team, or maybe more so the limits of your manager. I don't think we've been great, we've been good in moments, but mainly consistent. But I think a lot of you are overrating your team. Gabriel's had a good season, Saka's starting to play, but the rest. meh. Let's make some comparisons to see if the claim that you're on a different level is true. Goalkeepers - Alisson/ Kelleher, no point even commenting on that. Defence - Saliba/ Gabriel were very good last season. Saliba's dropped off, Califiori looks average. I'd take VVD and Konate every day of the week. I like Timber but he's a sick note, and who do you have who is better than Trent? Midfield - I'd have laughed if anyone had tried to compare Gravenberch to Rice last season, but I'd argue he's been the better player this season. Partey's good but he's another sick note. I'd take Jones/ MacAllister over Jorginho/ Merino thanks. Attackers - Saka over Salah? Hahah, no. Trossard, Havertz, Jesus, Martinelli, Sterling. or Diaz, Gakpo, Nunez, Jota -? Come on, be honest, you're overrating your team. Don't whinge about injuries - we've all had bad spells, it's how you cope that matters ;)

There's a difference between having our own realistic expectations and pointing out you're not quite as amazing as you think you are. Read it how you want, I'm glad someone took a bite anyway :)
