Unreal how quickly things have changed. The guy wins the league and everything from his tactics to press conferences are praised. Now they are having their first difficult period and he can't do anything right.

There were already massive holes in their squad last season. The key players were well past 30. They lost one of their most important creative players. They won the league which usually makes it difficult to motivate players the following year. They have had more injuries than last season (thought they were rather fortunate with them last year to be honest) .

It was always going to be difficult for Slot but i expected him to have a bit more credit in the bank.

Enjoy the wonderful highs and all the exaggerated plaudits that come your way, but take any of it or yourselves too seriously,
And equally accept the inevitable lows and the negative comments that come you way too, but don't take any of that or the self doubt too seriously either.


Evey club that's ever achieved great things has always experienced tough times eventually, Arsenal, Liverpool, United, City, Forest, Derby.

The only way to totally avoid the inevitable lows is to totally avoid the wonderful highs, as Rochdale, Hartlepool and Tottenham have always done.
