juan matas dad and agent in arsenals directors box tonight may be a coincidence or maybe something special, would love to see him in an arsenal shirt.

14.) Unless his dad is a keeper, and thinking of signing, the rest is irrelevant. Last night only emphasised the problem we have. Yes, szczesny made some great saves, but tell me a keeper who doesn't. His first half flap at a simple cross, and second half rushing out the box to get a ball he never had a chance of we're the two most glaring instances of why we need a keeper so urgently. How can wenger not be prioritising this?

If we got him and won the leagueI would love it. never understand fans obsession with price I would rather pay big money and really compete for the title as opposed to buying no one and finishing at best fourth but with an extra 30/ 40 million in the bank.

Dissapointing window really don't see much squad improvement . I hope this is wengers last season. everyone says it will be hard to replace wenger but sometimes a great can stay too long . I remember brian cloughs last season at forest and they have never recovered. Sad to say it but wenger has just been left behind . we are too slow in transfers and don't offer the money for quality.

I would say mixed. Xhaka is classy midfield and gives us more options but you could argue not essential. Happy we got Mustafi we needed experience (Although it came at a high cost really leaving it late) and Holding looks good young find if one for the future more.
My main dissapointment is that we needed a upgrade on Giroud. A big physical central striker that was more consistent in front of goal really.
Perez is a strange one another nimble faster forward that will end playing in any of the three front positions but for not convinced he will really make much impact and be a regular starter let's hope I am wrong but seems a rush backup impulse buy to me.
We still are relying on Giroud too much for me.

With everyone strengthening I think we will struggle to finish in top 6.clearly yhe money we have in reserve is not to strengthen the squad.
Everyone says the club is run well, I think the clubs run like all big companies the only people they care about is the board and top management. the fans are not even taken into account. wenger and kronke both overpaid paracites really am disappointed with the club, constantly patronising loyal fans with bs about looking for top talent and how hard to recruit them but all the other clubs can finalise there deals in no time . sad to say it but think it will be the worst season for us in a long time. why can wenger not address the problem areas we have had for years . even my 7 year old knows we are poor in centre defence and not clinical enough up front . ABSOLUTE joke.

The club is being run as a short term financial project, people talk about our youth policy well what about our fan youth policy?
Yes those with family connections will still possibly become gooners but very few kids run around playgrounds playing 11 aside accountancy, not in this country or anywhere around the world to my knowledge.
Players with decent options are already giving us the cold shoulder and slowly but surely less and less kids will choose Arsenal as their team to follow.
United Chelsea City may have lots of dosh but they also have lots of ambition too and Liverpool may not be best equipped to win the premier league but the will and desire to do so has never been in question, Leicester? Well they have the heart to win hearts and minds while Arsenal? Well we have a big shiny stadium that far to often has less atmosphere than Jupiter and £200 million on the bank statement to offer I guess.

Great start to the window and slow since.
If we got Mustafi to add to Holding for the defence -> that's a good start
Midfield -> Granit who looks very useful
Up front - > Mahrez would be welcome as would a more experienced Iwobi. If we can keep Gnarby fit that's another option to keep the wings covered. Plus I think Rambo will play wide right.
Striker - > hopefully Theo stays fit and we add one. He would not be first choice but Bony has been mentioned. Thought he did well at City when I saw him and would be a good alternative with EPL experience to Giroud.
For all my positivity - we need to get a CD and CF signed pretty soon!

I think we need arse kicking and have some sort of bad season to wake up, not that I wish for it to happen.
We have a talented team but its not the finished article just yet. And as everyone is suggesting we are only couple of players far off being up there with man c, man u, and chelsea.

Half way and top of the league. really hope wenger strengthens in jan.3 players needed a utility defender, proper defensive midfielder and a clinical striker.
Unlikely and expensive but with these 3 areas covered I think we would be the strongest squad in the league and also have a genuine chance in the champions league.
