Ed, 'IF' Allergi does become Arsenals manager this summer, would it have an impact on what Sanchez does? Surely if Wenger does decide to move on, the board would let the next manager decide the fate of our big stars. I would assume Allergi is a fan of Sanchez being he's been link with Juventus for quite some time even if the Juva board have the say of who comes and goes, surely the manager has some input.

{Ed002's Note - I think because the fans have turned the players will have priorities which include the options available.}

Hey Eds, is there any interest in Reus or Gotze? Both young and talented. I feel arsenal could benefit from having an out and out winger.

I'm hearing a lot about Fabregas. Is there any chance of a return to Arsenal?

coldicebg

{Ed002's Note - I cannot answer questions with "any chance" in.}

1.) Hopefully not. He walked out on us, when he had 3 years left on his contract and was captain. The Barca fans have turned against him, as the team has to be modified to fit him in and he lacks pace. We have plenty of players in his position and are more in need of better defensive midfield options, such as Bender & M'Vila, who could replace the slow duo of Arteta & Flamini.

2.) You realise that this isn't Fifa? It really doesn't matter whether Cesc is "slow". He could be standing still and he would be class.

3.) You would take Mvia over Cesc? Madness. Bender is good and I would sign him but I would get Cesc in and ship of Cazorla myself.

4.) I don't think wenger is going to sell any players, only those that will walk.

we need depth and bringing in bender and josip drmic and hopefully cesc and a striker should be enough to go again next season.

5.) Chess - As a defensive midfield player sitting in front of the back four, of course I would take M'Vila instead of Fabregas. We have Ozil, Wilshere, Cazorla, Rosicky, Oxlade, Ramsey & Abu Diaby who can all play the Fabregas role. Possibly in some cases not as well, but we need to spend in other areas, as we look like needing a keeper, a right back, a centre back, a defensive midfield player & a striker.

We definitely need someone who can really pick out the killer balls. Too many times I'm screaming for our midfield to set someone free when they make a good run only for the ball to go sideways.

It's as if they don't seem brave enough or sure of their ability to try it. We've all seen Cesc and know that he can play those killer through balls. Older and wiser now and scoring more.

I would certainly add that to the mix. You can never have too many good ingrediants.

Hey Ed. What do you think the chances are of seeing Rooney and Fabregas playing for Arsenal next year. Personally can't see Arsenal paying Rooney's wages or seeing Barcelona off loading Fabreagas but can't stop thinking what if. {Ed007's Note - None.}

Yo Ed. Could Vlahovic be an option?

coldicebg

{Ed002's Note - Dusan Vlahovic (S) Only joined in January 2022 but financial issues that Juventus now have will determine that he is sold in the summer – but they will hold out for €70M. His agent has approached Manchester United, Chelsea and PSG. Real Madrid are also keen but, like Chelsea, have preferred targets. Chelsea were open to an exchange of players last summer but right now there is no push as his wage demands are seen as excessive and they will look to other targets first. PSG have him as a possible Mbappe replacement - but not first choice - but don't lose sight of them. As a wildcard, Atletico Madrid or Arsenal may rekindle interest but would likely want to include players in any deal. Juventus have already drawn up a list of potential replacements and are working on those even though he has signed a new contract.}

Ed, who would you rather Arsenal push for out of Toney or Vlahovic seeing as they could each cost a similar fee or do you have another forward in mind you’d like arsenal to go for?

coldicebg

{Ed002's Note - I doubt either are available this month, in part because their preferred replacements will not be available this month so there would need to be a huge financial premium to pay.}

I know it’s big money, but Arsenal need to just bite the bullet on this one. My fear is Arsenal just don’t entertain bidding wars so it’s frustrating we put in a 2nd bid quite frankly everyone knew wld get dismissed when we could have hit this deal over line all ready. What’s your thoughts ED? Think we F this one up?

I don’t believe that paper talk anyway. Xhaka isn’t going anywhere. Arteta highly rates him hence convincing him to stay when everyone wanted him out including himself and he’s having the best season He’s had at arsenal. Arsenal have fallen short because of quality in depth. Getting Rice doesn’t mean he’ll be off.

Sterling is a dangerous player. Direct and his best football and scoring record at city I believe was when Arteta was there which he’s quoted saying he owes a lot to Arteta. He’s not too old with great winning experience. My only concern is, it’s a lot of wage money for a player I wouldn’t want to see ahead of martinelli or Saka. The game time they’re getting goes hand in Hand with how good they’re getting. World class players play week in week out. They’re not part of a rotational system. Nearly every team that wins the league for example pretty much stick w the same 11 every week.
