It was mentioned on a couple of posts on this page after we bought buendia. for what it’s worth I wouldn’t sell willock I think he has a great future and would of liked to see him come to villa. Maddison is overrated and to arrogant for my liking.

I think there were a few reasons,
1. He didn’t want to be part of a sneaky six club.
2. Arsenal projectory is downwards of late and Aston Villa upwards.
3. Arteta will be on the brink of getting sacked if ye have a bad start.
4. Martinez probably told him how bad things really are inside the club.
5. Only thing better than 1 emi is 2 emi’s lol thanks again for Martinez and the 6 points last season 😎.
