Just read that arsenal are in talks with Madrid but it's believed they're asking for £60m. We are prepared to offer £45m for a player who turns 28 this season. I think Madrid will lower the asking price towards the end of the window possibly deadline day as they have debt but also have been after a few stars that they'll need to free up funds for. Fingers crossed goners it MIGHT still happen. If it doesn't then good news that reporter bird will be punished win win I say

45 sounds about right even 50 i would say...and get the deal done...70 mill euro for a player who has probably another 3 years at the top level is pretty good deal for madrid.

Got to agree all the talk of benzema is driving me mad i want him to come but i can't help but think we are going to miss out as per usual if i'm honest a 20 mill bid for beharinho (forgive the spelling) wouldn't be a bad shout at least he's prem proven and has all the asets to be a fantastic goal scorer

I agree smoggy let's do the best we can do rather than keep pinning our hopes on a player who has shown no or very little interest in leaving his current club and that is every bit as likely to join a rival as he is us should he ever move to the premier league.
Benzema to Arsenal has Higuain to Arsenal written all over it and in the end chances are we will only see him at the Emirates when he lines up against us.

Heard this morning that were thinking of a £42m bid for higuain and also gotze agent saying he's unhappy with the way Munich have treated him and were intrested. Obviously all top sides in Europe will want he's services. Can you shed any light on these and who's in for both players

No offense mate, but someone asks the eds every day about Higuain, everyone has heard it and even I am getting tired of the eds having to respond again so in all due respect RTFP. And btw Benzema would be way better and we are getting neither (to save you some time)

Just to add fuel to the fire, for the annoyance of Bergooner, Tancredi Palmeri of beIN Sports claimed yesterday that we have made a 45m Euro bid for Higuain. Make of it what you will, but it's probably drivel.

For me then isn't worth that new contract he's not a winner the ox should be on the right and Theo's just not got enough of a presence to play a loan striker giroud over him all day. May be inconsistent but when he's not scoring hel contribute with build up play and get assists but we do need a world class striker.
Definatly need cover for le coq and also a new centre half but they're is still a month to go I just hope wengers got his magic wand in one hand and he's wallet in the other

For me the closest to an Henry is lacazette looks a really good player but unproven. Aubemyang hasn't cut it at Dortmund and something telling me benzema may not cut it in England I'd like to see lacazette personally
