So VAR is only being used for the home games of the premier league teams? Can they not see that the integrity of that competition is now shot to pieces?

Completely, teams outside of the PL must be desperate to play at home

No VAR can benefit both teams it’s just today the officials didn’t see BW’s shirt being ripped off his back.

{Ed002's Note - There is no budget to set up the necessary facilities for other sides.}

Really? You think because a competition doesn't use VAR it loses all integrity? Integrity it enjoyed for over 100 years, just disappeared, because they didn't use VAR.

Sorry, I can't buy into this.

I didn't think it would take long ?.

It's fascinating how people just can't accept losing fair and square.
Stop the steal Stop the steal, really?

Think you are overthinking it 62

Man in the stands at Forest, tells the ref of the shirt pull and it’s a penalty - not saying because it’s is could have been anyone mate

But if cameras are at every cup tie what really is the issue?

62 we deserved to lose we were terrible and they also had a pen shout that would of been checked too.
Rsharpe you are really missing the point, a competition should be equal for every team in each round, not one rule for one team and another rule for another, if VAR can’t be used in some rounds it shouldn’t be used in any rounds then making it an equal competition.

ED when you say budget do you mean people or equipment. I’ve seen every cup tie on TV this weekend all with the ability to watch a replay .

{Ed002's Note - The relevance of which is?}

You can’t work out what the relevance to his question is?

{Ed002's Note - It is of no relevance to the use of VAR.}

A more reasonable way of answering your question Oxfordshire is probably to say that as well as the broadcasting cameras that we see the game through, VAR also relies on a number of slow and ultra-slow motion cameras as well as dedicated offside cameras and use of Hawk-eye style software. In addition you also have the issue of limited personnel, and limited VAR operation rooms to oversee all of the games that are running at the same time.

I think what some people are getting at is if it can't for what ever reason be used in the games against lower league teams it shouldn't be used by anyone in the competition so there is a level playing field.
So no one gets the advantage and disadvantages of using it.

But to add to my last comment we lost fair and square we where shocking so let's hope that was our bad performance and onto the next game.
