Varane signs for Man U for 41 million, he’s won 4 champions league, 4 Club world cups, 3 La Liga’s, 1 copa del Rey and 1 World Cup - we pay 50 million for a defender from Brighton . There is something seriously wrong with our negotiating team, why not give Varane a 9 million pound signing on fee and pay the 41 million that was being asked ……. Baffling.

What’s the wage variance and potential sell on value as well as the British premium….

I would have liked a 25 to 30 year old leader in CD or CDM as we lack that. We’ve opted for youthful enthusiasm and resale value on our summer purchases.

Utd may be signing more impact players but their expectations are higher, wallet bigger and in Europe….

I don’t disagree Ox but let’s give Ben a chance - we know the board is useless as well as edu. Hopefully Arteta can change our opinion and be less useless. We have limited big names so surely man management can’t be to blame now. We’ve bought easy players for him to manage 😂.

Hardly baffling. Varane would of wanted European football and we wouldn't of been able to afford his wage demands. Reports are suggesting that Utd are doubling his wages!
White is classy player who fits the mould we need. Give the lad a chance.

I really don't know why people keep banging on about trophies players have won elsewhere or why they use it as a yardstick for how they'll do at their current club.

When we had a World Cup winner in Shkodran Mustafi, almost every Arsenal fan slated him. Paul Pogba has a WC medal, but he hasn't exactly set things on fire at Man United.
