Im happy they've signed this kid. Seems decent enough. My point is though, Fofana gets bought and goes straight in to the Leicester first team. Proves to be a quality defender, despite being so young. Arsenal sign Saliba, but he gets shipped out for whatever reasons they can think of. I wouldn't care less if they came out and just said, he isn't what we're looking for. Then they pay 50 million for White. That's got to seem a bit odd to other people too? I really hope this guy goes straight in to the first team and proves that he has what it takes.

I suspect the real reason Saliba has been loaned out yet again is he and Arteta don't get along. I'd actually bet the only way we'll see Saliba play for Arsenal is under a different manager.

Saliba like Ozil and others so obviously isn't football related.

It may not be Arteta who has the problem with some individuals but those who pull Arteta strings.

The real reason is debatable but we can safely rule out footballing reasons in my opinion.

If it is Arteta keeping him from playing then he is full of rubbish. Didn't he say "Everyone has the same chance everyday"? No grudges etc. I like Arteta, i see him coming good in the long run for Arsenal, but some of the decision's are questionable.

I'm not excusing Arteta because I think he's complicit in supporting whoever is pulling his strings even if the initial choice wasn't his.

I personally can't see how having a manager who will go along with wrong desicions is good for the teams chances of success, obviously freezing out a young talent like Saliba without even giving him a chance is wrong way to go about things.
