Last year we tried to sell players before bringing in new ones (Partey last day etc. ) but this year it would appear that we have got the go ahead to buy in new player first and deal with outgoings as they happen. We have got a lot of players to potentially move on such as;

leno (12m)
Bellerin (15m)
Kolasinac (3m)
Mavropanos (7m)
Saliba or Holding - if Ben White comes (15m)
Xhaka (18m)
Torreira (13m)
Guendouzi (13m)
Maitland Niles (15m)
Willock (18m)
Willian (Free)
Nelson (12m)
Nketiah (12m)

Potential Sales = approx 150m

It looks like we would then buy / need to buy

Ajax Keeper (8m)
Back up Keeper (12m)
Right Back (35m)
Ben White (50m)
Lokonga to replace Ceballos (15m)
Another more experienced Mid to replace Xhaka (35m)
No 10 like Madisson (50m)

Potential Incomings = 200m

If things go well for Edu it looks like we could turn the squad around by outlaying roughly 50m to
70m (spend 200m and get back 150m)

BUT it is a very risky approach given how conservative Arsenal normally are . Are we seeing a new way of thinking at Arsenal? Similar to the David dein days where we'd just go any sign Overmars and Petit in one go?

I don’t think it will be that easy to sell all of those players. But I do think there will be a few outgoings and incomings. It will be interesting to see where we are at by the start of the season.

Fun post, of the names listed, I think the following will go:

Bellerin (15m)
Kolasinac (3m)
Mavropanos (7m)
Xhaka (15m)
Torreira (released)
Guendouzi (13m)
Maitland Niles (15m)
Willian (Free)

So that's about 70M.
