Hi all!

I see we’ve had both Charles Watts and Fabrizio Romano touting that Arsenal are stepping up interest in Emi Buendia as an alternative for Odegaard and I wondered if anyone who had watched much of Norwich this season give a bit of detail about him?

I’ll hold my hands up and say I don’t think I’ve seen a single Norwich game this season but by all accounts Buendia predominantly plays from the right hand side and that kind of has me a bit curious about the potential transfer. We are now well stocked on the right hand side with it being both Saka and Pepe’s favoured position. If we do sign Buendia, are we trying to shoehorn a winger into a central attacking mid because he has close control etc or is that a wrong assumption? It has me a tad concerned especially when you hear the likes of Guardiola commenting that Foden for example hasn’t learned the ins and outs of the central position yet so is better deployed on the wing. Just seems potentially risky if Emi doesn’t end up having the correct understanding to play in the middle.

Would be interested in peoples views!
