i always respect other peoples opinions when it comes to arsenal, (within reason) but sorry to say this but anyone who still thinks arteta is the man for the job seriously needs their heads testing. the man is way out out of his depth. in my lifetime i have never seen arsenal at such a low point, for me he has be sacked by the morning. unai emery was sacked for less.
one of the most disturbing things for me was his post match interview when he said we were the better team because no way over the 2 legs did we deserve to go through, he must have been watching a different game to what we were.

I would be surprised if even Arteta thinks he is the right man for the job at the moment. That was hopeless.

Completely agree!
What an embarrassing and pathetic performance that was, the formation n starting line up was completely wrong. To play a semi-final two legs experimenting formations is a joke!
Completely out of his depth! How can anyone think this is the guy to take us forward is beyond me.
Absolutely gutted.

Im not normally an emotionally reactive individual, can usually remain objective and positive, BUT, I have never felt so frustrated and low in my life. Its not even the fact we didn't make the final, its the absolute pathetic attempt to win the game that has irked me. So, so so poor. Yes Auba hit the post, ESR and Pepe 'nearly' scored, but those chances were not 'created'. They merely fell to each individual in a moment and their own instincts took over. i'm at a loss as to how Arteta set the team up, to play so flat with no pace, no ideas, just blunt!

1 of 2 things happened in my mind - either Arteta set the team up poorly, had no idea how to motivate and tactically set the team up for such an important game, or, the team didn't listen to any of his instructions as they have lost faith in him. Either scenario is terrible for the club.

Saka being moved around constantly is ridiculous, he's 19! Let him develop in his position instead of being the Atlas holding the club up. Partey has felt like a massive let down, how many stray passes did he have in the game? How many times did he lose possession? The back pass to Leno was a SHOCKER. Put him under real pressure. I totally get that the system isolated Partey and left him too much to do, but all his poor play was individual errors for me. Likely due to being exhausted, but still, I expected more form him.

After seeing Tuchel's work at Chelsea, I have to admit that I long for the same ruthlessness and approach for us now. I just can't see a change happening regardless.
