"The Emperor's New Clothes"

The tale of Unai who was preoccupied with pressing and changing formations. Some swindlers took advantage of this by pretending to be able to weave the finest defence, which couldn't be seen by people who were either unfit for office or were particularly stupid. Unai decided to have a Defence made. As he didn't want to appear stupid or unfit for office himself, he pretended to be able to see the improvements, as did all of his courtiers. He paraded the 'new defence' throughout the land and the onlookers, also not wishing to appear stupid, all admired the improvements.

A small child, who didn't understand the apparent necessity for pretence, piped up 'But he has no tactics or defence! '. The bubble of pretence burst and soon all the onlookers were repeating what the child had said, whilst Unai continued the procession, attempting to maintain his dignity by pretending that nothing had happened.

Nice one, I feel properly put in my place at last. I just didn't understand all your serious and well considered opinions, until you put them in the form of a child's tale! I guess I'll just have to carry on being a mug, and enjoy supporting the team when they play. It's certainly more entertaining than reading the constant garbage some of you are obsessed with getting validation from on here.
