Someone please explain to me our injury list?? How do we get so many long term injuries.there is something seriously wrong at Arsenal

Something is up for sure as to why we get so many soft tissue non contact injuries. Do we train too hard or not enough? is there too much technical passing work done and not enough physical conditioning in training, are we doing correct warm up and cool downs before and after training?. There is something behind this that we are doing fundamentally wrong I am sure of it. It can't all be down to bad luck.

I could understand more us getting more contact based injuires because of the nature of our play unfortuatly slower opponents are more likely to catch to with late tackles even if unintentional. A lot of our injuries seem to happen without contact though.

Hello mate good to hear from you.
I think there wasa lot in what Gael Clichy said when he got to city, there players tackle full blooded in training and at Arsenal that was not allowed to stop injuries.
In theory it makes sense but in practice so isn't working, plus explains to some degree our inability to mix it when the going gets tough in games.

Four of the eight are back this month with Ramsey listed as the 1st November.

The other three Ozil, Giroud and Debuchy are waiting in the wings as new January signings.

Some have doubts over Ospina and Koscielny with GIbbs likely to be out at the break of a finger nail and others don't care if Diaby or Sanogo ever come back. Jack of course will succumb to yet another ankle injury and it is only a matter of time before the injury curse that hangs over the club strikes Welbeck, Sanchez and Chambers.

It's all Wengers fault because they are small, soft, midgets with little or no pain thresh hold and Shad was actually a fraud and found to be nothing more than a circus clown. He will be returning to the big top shortly.

If only Arsene had rotated with all the players apparently not up to the task all would have well in the World. Unfortunately he didn't and the wheel hanging on by one rusty bolt has well and truly fallen off.

Apart from that I have no medical training nor a clue about what the feck is going on. Pretty much the same as the rest of us. ;-)

Was pretty much going to post what Ryan posted.

Also, we pick up injuries left, right and centre, but how come Diego Costa, who came to Chelsea with a history of hamstring problems, and is never injured?

I think Chelsea have the best fitness and medical personnel in the league.

And they have the fittest physio, lol.

She's well sweet :-)

Too many lightweight players not up to the physical demand I suspect has something to do with it.
Although I have heard our conditioning and fitness methods are out of date as well

If my physio looked like chelseas you couldn't drag me away from the treatment room

{Ed001's Note - have you ever noticed that they tend to have more need of a physio than any other team? Mind I would need the physio every time anyone even breathed on me if she looked like her too!!}
