Hi Ed, any truth to the Ruben Neves to Arsenal rumours?

{Ed002's Note - Ruben Neves (DM/CM) Wolves would look to get as close to €50M as they can should circumstances dictate Neves is sold, but they certainly don't want to sell and have made clear that he has a long-term contract and there have been no approaches at this time. Mr Mourinho is a huge fan and has tried to take him to three different clubs in the past - and he would, I am sure be interested in taking him to Roma. He has always been seen as an option to replace Matic at Manchester United, but they have other priorities to deal with first and preferred options. I am not aware of Arsenal speaking to Wolves at all at this time.}

Neves is a great player and would provide precisely the type of partner for Partey that Arteta seeks. However, as Ed002 rightly implies, Wolves are no longer minnows that can be pushed over in the transfer market, they have money and ambition.

I think Arsenal may find it hard to align their ambitions with With their typical parsimonious approach to securing players. The football economy has changed markedly and Arsenal are no the player we once were. Whether that changes with the Ek situation remains to be seen.

Lol. You do know you will be getting into an auction. Once you submit an offer man utd and Liverpool will bid higher. Good business by wolves creating an auction.

How do you know that Man Utd and Liverpool will bid higher? Are you some sort of agent in the know or something?
