Marca (reliable) today stating that monreal will leave AFC on a three year deal to Bilbao, once Ghoulam signs, AFC have found agreement for €10M with Napoli

Sorry for maybe asking an obvious question, but is Monreal a Basque player? Only if he isn't I would expect that Bilbao won't even attempt to sign him.

monreal played really well second part of the season id keep him unless ghoulam is really good

I got the monreal part, but I meant the Ghoulam one, you didn't mention that. Is the agreement with Napoli for Ghoulam true? :)

I'd be sad to see him leave now as he's only just beggining to get appreciated by many, but if its what he wants and feels is right for him good luck to him he doesn't owe most fans anything because he's hardly been inundated with support during his time with us.

Monreal is from Pamplona in the Basque region of Spain yes, so he could sign for Athletic Club.

I personally don't see him as a massive loss despit improving over the second part of last season.

We need better though.
