Pressure on the World Cup refs?
Lets say if Brazil had been knocked out let's say in the last 16.
Do you think the World Cup tournament would have been able to carry on in the way it has?
My feelings are that maybe the atmosphere would have been a lot different to what it is in Brazil at the moment a country where a lot of people were objecting to the money that has been spent only to see their hosting country not in it. It would not have been a good place to be a tourist if that had happened.
I'm thinking the refs have all this to contend with when making a descision on the pitch . Bit worrying being a ref in a host country where people are up in arms about the tournament in the first place. So are Brazil being favoured?
What do you think?

Fair point Golds.

Would hate to be a ref and officiate a host countries match but I think they have done a decent enough job, apart from the ref in one of the first matches, who was so poor I think they sent him home.

I think it's clear for the whole world to see that Brazil are being favoured. The standard off refereeing has been terrible throughout the competition. I think Howard Webb is the only one who's actually been balanced in his officiating.
